Did you know you can use acrylic brushes for polygel application? In this video I will show you how with Melody Susies size 12 round acrylic brush.
Maybe Im a bit late to the party here but I only found this out a few months ago and I am so glad that I did! This has helped reduce my filing and the time I spend applying the polygel. Have a watch and let me know what you think in the comments!

I didn't think you could use an acrylic brush for polygel, but now that I do, I have an acrylic brush that's never been used. I don't do acrylic but I decided to decorate the acrylic brush that I bought about 3 years ago with gems. I will have to look it out and try using it for my polygel. Thanks for sharing this with us Courtney. By the way....I love your nails. 💖💅💞

Hey lovely i have been using an acrylic brush for just over a year for my flexigel application. It really cuts down your application time once you get used to it but the over all finish is soooo much better and it curves around the nail a little when you pull it down over your product, which means less finish filling 🙌 as we as nail techs all hate filling 😂. Round brushes are definitely better than a flat brush though. Thanks for sharing and glad you found a use for the brush 😊♥️xxx

Oooh I didn't know the round ones were better than the flat ones for this, thank you for sharing that tidbit :) I used to hate doing extensions but I actually look forward to it now!

@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie yeah they are so much better as they aren’t as soft and flexible as a flat brush, i use a size 8 and it’s perfect 👌🏻 i hated doing them too with those gel brushes and it definitely has gave me more confidence when doing extensions now and always happy to help out a fellow tech ♥️xxx

😱You are Soo right,the brush that comes with polygel kits it stabby and takes longer to correct and recorrect. That was so fast and smooth. Great to see you! Congratulations on college. Love your Halloween Mani,pink is a nice change on things 🤩😍🤩😍🥰💓😘

Thank you. I couldn't understand why one would have to use such a small brush. It made me irritated because it takes forever...lol. It's like acrylic, so why not use a bigger brush.
