Thank you SO MUCH for your video. Extremely detailed and extremely educational. I'm getting ready to do my first pour this weekend and I've watched tons of videos. Yours is among the top 3 for me so thank you again! God bless you for sharing your knowledge. 💖
Bless your heart for making a video that starts with the "how to and what to" in mixing your paints. Thank you. I went at it full boar and made 7 blah paintings and 2 just ok paintings. I had alot of fun but was disappointed in the end. So now I'm off to the store with high hopes again, so thank you!
You are a wonderful teacher! You explain everything clearly and slowly! A lot of people doing tutorials forget their listeners are hearing this for the first time! I really enjoy watching you!
I've been watching videos for about three years, maybe 4, and have only poured one time. I appreciate your video presentation so much and I finally feel like I am ready to take a leap into pouring. So glad it showed up on my phone!
I have watched many pour instructions but did not feel like I could try this technique. You gave info I have not heard before and cleared up many things I did not uǹderstand. You also went slow enough and repeated important info before rushing off to the next step . I appreciate not being rushed so you could absorb the info. Thank you. Your excellent for beginners like me !
I’ve watched other videos and today did my first pour. An absolute disaster!! I’ve just watched this video and you’ve given me the impression that I will be able to do this, so I will hopefully have a success in the next few attempts. Thanks for such an informative video 😊
I can't believe I've been pouring for a year now, and am just now finding out I can make my pouring medium as you just described....I"m blown away cuz I just bought a can of the the one coat Polycrylic. Thanks for all you great tips!!! Blessings
This is the first beginners pour that I've watched and I've watched a lot of more advanced. This is definitely in my top 3 of the prettiest ones I've seen! All three are very different and I really love all of them the same, but for different reasons. I find myself tipping my phone (I hope it helped 😉). This is an excellent video! I love that you talked us through every step-telling us what you were doing, what you were using, and why you were using it! Don't learn to edit! It's so nice knowing that you weren't editing things out. I wish I could do something like this but due to severe RA in my hands (& there rest of me too) I can't do things that I've known how to do my whole life, let alone trying something new. I'll just keep watching and admiring others work! Great video, thank you!
Thank you. You're the only one I have found that gives the total list of what you need, and well as a step by step instruction. Can't wait to try this!
Thank you especially for teaching me the right amount of pouring medium and paint. The other videos I watched all were very rigid about the measurements, like 1 third this, two thirds that, but you told me how the paint should behave and what it should look like, so I just added as much as I needed to get the needed result. That helped me a lot.
The most interesting part of this art is the fact that it’s always a unique piece unto itself! No two pieces are the same! The results are awesomeness on steroids effect which dazzles the mind and body and soul in n the creativity factor! Masterpieces like this are so cool to watch happen! It’s an incredible source of educational material that surpasses all mathematical reasoning and formulas! Excellent piece of art work from an extraordinary artist!🎉❤🎉❤
I loves the colors. Thanks for giving such a clear explanation most video are so fast that one can't even see what colors are being used, this one is very precise and easy to follow. Thanks
Beginner here! The box idea is great. My Aspergers grandson and I are learning together. So far, we are both in love with this art form. He loves art and it is so good to see how good he feels doing this. You have helped me with this video. Thank you!
Great work! Thank you for showing this, I really feel like I can finally do this. And your methods are fairly cheap and easy to follow. Again thank you.
I am so grateful for this video! I have never tried acrylic pouring. You are correct, nobody talks about every little step. I have paints that are 4 years old; I really need to go ahead and use them. I cannot think of a better way to use up old paints than acrylic pouring. That will make more space for newer paints, God help me.
You are an excellent tutor. My first pour will be a good pour after watching this. Thank you. Now all I need to do is collect all the items needed to give it a try.
Detail, detail detail!!!! Just what I needed. I have tried this another way and used rubbing alcohol w/water spray to make cells in the pour. But I like this better. Thank you for describing the supplies needed and where to get them. Thank you!!!
OK, I watches this video a few times slowly and wrote down a lot of notes before even trying to pour. You are the absolute best at explaining the process! You are also 100% correct when you said that it is not as easy as it looks! But after ending up with muddy areas a few times, I finally got the hang of it! Thank you for this video, I am enjoying the process of learning about this method of painting.
I've been watching videos for about 2 weeks and saving most trying to understand. I got to the point where I thought I did and it didn't come close to coming out, now, thanks to you I see why it didn't. I was using paint straight from the bottle with really no clue how to layer or even pour. Watching your video to me was like eating popcorn at a great movie, it just hit the spot and I didn't want it to end. I know that I saved it at least 3 times to make sure that I didn't lose it. Thankyou!😊
Thank you soooo much for taking your time. This is a well explained video. I have NEVER tried this before. I am starting to homeschool this upcoming school year. This is exactly what I needed.
Cecilia, thank you so very much for your vidio. Finally I understand the pouring technic after several times of messing up and frustation. My hope is rising I'm able to do it too.
Thanks so much for making a full tutorial on how to do this type of artwork ❤️ I’ve seen videos of pours all over IG but none have been as helpful as yours has! This is exactly what I needed to watch so I have a better idea of the materiel I need to start doing these on my own ❤️ TY so much!
Thank you so much, a wonderful video. I have wanted to try this but never knew just how to start. So glad you gave detailed information on all the added mediums, silicone, etc. I will definitely try this now, saved your video to watch while I do it.
Thank you for sharing this information in a clear and non technical manner. You have given me the confidence to try this method. I also didn’t know you could practice the method using craft paint. That way the cost isn’t prohibitive. Thank you
You ROCK! Well done, easy to follow because you took the time to explain every step and product and tool used with alternatives. I always wanted to try this but took a long hiatus (met n married the man of my dreams) and now I'm so ready to try being creative once again. TYTYTY!
Dear Cecilia, Thank you for sharing, and especially being very HONEST about the Money !!! I'm on a fix income.. But I want to BADLY want to make these for my grandchildren.. Your a great teacher !!!
Excellent video, questions in my head were answered in her next sentence. Love the idea of a cardboard box lined with foil so can't wait to get started now. thankyou
Finally! Your tutorial was wonderful! I was wondering how to do this"pouring art" and exactly what "recipe" to use...you've explained everything. I can now try my hand at this. Thank-you!
Thank you so much for making a video of the whole process!!! I’ve watched a lot of videos “for beginners” where there was a lot of little things that were explained, I was confused. This video really made the process make a lot more sense and explained all those little things I was missing.
I was able to write all of the steps down. This was so much more informative. I've been wanting to try this now I will have more confidence. Thank you.
I would LOVE to try this technique out. Thanks to your video I think I will! Your piece turned out beautiful by the way! Thank you for sharing! Your AWESOME!
I've watched numerous videos today. You are the only one who explained the heart & silicone. The way my brain works, literally, I need to hear such details so that I can fully absorb instructions & choose actions that will lead to more success sooner. Such details/info facilitates correct or better choices, because I more completely understand the process (what happens & why). Thank you.
Thank you for going step by step, actually speaking and giving directions, instead of having some loud music playing, while mixing fluids and using typed words to try to explain the "bounce test". I very much appreciate anyone who is honest enough to tell people to use cheaper materials until they discover if they even enjoy it.
Very well explained. I’ve made my list and would be trying this. I ve done this FA before but forgot the details’ this is even better than I understood before. Thank you so much.
Excellent video for us beginners! I wanted to try a pour, but until I watched this video, I didn’t think I knew enough. I was right to wait...I learned a lot! Thank you so much! I subscribed.
I'm watching videos in preparation for my first of hopefully many pours and this really helped! I figured out that I still need distilled water, polyurethane, and silicone! Oh, and gloves. Plus, your box idea really helped me because I'm disabled, live with family, and my room is super tiny because it's actually half of a room. So, that helped me figure out that I can do the work in my room and then carry the finished work into the dining room, box and all, which will allow it to be out of the way of my wheel chair path while it dries! Thank you ❤️
When I made this video, I was hoping on one leg because of a multi fractured ankle. I had been in a really bad accident and had to move in with my mother. This video was done in my very crowded bedroom of one twin bed and furniture piled up to the ceiling.
Thank you for sharing this for us beginners out there. It helped me a lot to know what I will need and how to prep your paints before the pour. I have been watching a ton of videos and I am still freaking out about actually starting to paint! Lol
This is a forewarning for all you Newbies: ONCE you start, you will NEVER, EVER, EVER STOP! It's more expensive than a heroin addiction. Don't be fooled... It IS an ADDICTIVE FORM OF ART. Because... It makes you FEEL Wonderful, Excitement in watching it transform , the Increasing High from Anticipation of what the Outcome Will be, or...CAN BE...if you just gently move it, or torch it, or blow on it, or...OMG!!! It's such a HIGH! And then..... You just cannot WAIT for the NEXT ONE.... Oh, the Next One, Gotta do another one! Now! You just, must, gotta do ANOTHER ONE! OMG! Where's all my stuff?
I'm so excited to try doing this, I'm collecting supplies 😂 I just want to thank you for realizing that there aren't a lot of great videos out that explain the nitty-gritty type instructions on starting out. I also want to thank you for explaining why you should and shouldn't do certain things and what each ingredient does for the final outcome of each piece. I will start off small and cheap to get a feel for things like you recommended. Awesome "How-To." Love this!! 💕
I've been watching tons and tons of pour for beginners videos so i can do a painting workshop at our winery, Fox Creek Vineyards, and teach others how to make this beautiful type of art. Your videos are very straightforward and streamlined and my husband and I both love ur your videos and think that they're great for beginners and for those looking for more guidance in pouring
Thank you for doing this. I just recently discovered acrylic painting pouring and would like to give it a try but had no idea how to start...thanks again
this was an awsome tutoriol now i can try this with confedance, and you were right no one had ever explained the step by step on what to do first and what materials were needed.. thank you so very much very informative.
I am watching pour paint for beginners and this one is helpful and I never thought to use the can of poly in my shed! Between that and my drawers full of various acrylic paints I am thrilled to be able to get rid of my stash in practicing. So fun. I suggest cutting open the bottles with a razor or scissor and using a paintbrush or stick to get out the considerable that remains so as not to thin with H20. I do this with all my shampoos, creams, etc. Life is expensive! I normally hate fluorescent colors but this is fabulous at least on my monitor it looks like jewel colors. Beautifully done and helpful even though I am a veteran at watching beginner tutorials, yours is wonderful!
Fantastic instructional. I need to hear all the details, why you add certain things and the science behind it. You work is gorgeous!! Thank you SO much for this!
Thank you for breaking down so many tricks of the trade for us newbies! I have 2 failures under my belt, I knew someone could help me shorten the learning curve!
I have been extremely interested in trying this out . This one would really pop with a black light ! This really looks fun. Thank you so much for posting . Merry Christmas
I have watched so many videos and I've went through more paints and canvases trying to get it right. I wish I had found your video before I wasted all that money and time. Thank you for the time you spent making the video. I'm now off to try it again doing it your way.
