In this video, I will show you how to make my cloud pour mix recipe. This recipe can be used to make Cloud Pour Paintings, Pearl Pour Paintings, Pearl Cells in other style Paintings and Denni Jo's Ghostly Pour Paintings. You will learn what ingredients I use, and STEP by STEP how I mix them.
As a bonus, I will also show you how to make a pearl cell painting using the same cloud pour mix recipe. Pearl cells are small, round, and shiny cells that look like pearls on the surface of the painting. They add a lot of interest and contrast to the composition.
The cloud pour mix recipe that I use in this video is:
1 part my 70/30 pouring medium (70% Floetrol and 30% water)
1 part FolkArt satin multi surface titanium white
1 part enamels (75% satin + 25% gloss)
A drizzle of Liquitex pouring medium
This recipe works well for me, but you can always experiment with different ratios and brands of paints and mediums to find what works best for you.
