[Act 1.5] Solo Warlock - Stomping Kith'rak Therezzyn - Honour Mode

Before ending the Inquisitor we easily take out Kith'rak Therezzyn.
After reaching level 7 it is time to respec for the last time. In this order: Fighter 1, Cleric 1, Warlock 5. This grant us con save proficiency, charisma stat on items scrolls etc and warlock extra attack. The build is still the same as in the video, just in a different leveling order.

I like combining Hunger of Hadar with Evard's Black Tentacles, they can occupy the same space so it doubles the chance to lock someone down! It's amazing for large groups of enemies!

Great combination for sure! Unfortunately both are concentration so not possible to do solo :/

@@FriendlyLich That's true, sorry! Erupting Earth could be used instead since it isn't concentration and creates rough terrain as well, though it would require a bit of multiclassing. Solo runs are ROUGH!

@@Jernimation No need to be sorry :). I used Hunger and Grease in a door frame in the Creche and that worked quite well. Harder on bigger areas though. Same with using void bulbs to bring em in! :D

Hey just wanted to say I’ve been watching all of your pal/necromancer vids lately and now watching your warlock ones and it’s so impressive and inspired me to try this type of class solo thanks so much, I’ve only played honor mode since it became available because the stakes are fun but was too bad at the game to do a solo run of anything other than gloom stalker assassin so thanks again I’ve learned a lot from your videos !

Thank you so very much for those words! I wish I could give you two hearts. I'm very happy that Larian released HM, it is as you say so fun since the stakes are higher. Ps I do have a super secret plan to release a HM party comp video at some point too :)

I did the same thing for the house of grief. Hunger, silence and black hole handled that fight.

I played through this today on tactician, and got the extra xp from that patrol which leaves the room after the cutscene. Happened on accident, I fought the two guards outside the doorway (near fast travel point), one of them ended up opening the door to this room, and all of them poured out the door to attack me. Might have been the longest fight ever in this game backtracking my steps towards infirmary, bombing them with spells and grease :D The cutscene does not play after that, but otherwise seems the game is not broken, for me atleast, and I can continue as normal...

@@FriendlyLich Continued the game after that comment and there is something to be careful of. Because the cutscene won't play, the Inquisitor will be just standing behind the wall of force. As soos as Therezzyn let me go through it, the Inquisitor became hostile, and all his soldiers from the back chamber came rushing to his aid. Managed to handle them as they took about four turns to get to me, but might be a tough one on a solo Honour mode run :D Luckily you can rest and stock up before talking to Therezzyn... Vlaakit encounter stayed intact despite killing Inquisitor beforehand. So no harm done...
