[Act 1] Solo Death Knight (pal/wiz) - Death Shepherds - Honour Mode

Hi!
Taking out the Death Shepherds was pretty straight forward. We keep doing AOE damage and baiting opportunity attacks for radiant damage and possibly prone them.
At the moment we are Level 7. Two Levels of Oathbreaker and Five Levels of Necromancer.
Thus begins a new Baldur's Gate 3 Solo Honour Mode journey! What I mean with Death Knight is a multiclass of Oathbreaker and Necromancer. Since animate dead is a Level 5 spell it will take us awhile to get it. Hopefully Oathbreaker with some thematic Necromancy spell will give the character the right feel.

I love how the smite the graceless helm + reverb gear + reeling means they slowly die as they attack you

I like that too. Maybe I should try to cast blur and just eat opportunity attacks for a fight!

Death Shepherds are such a pain in the ass, it’s too bad Conrad can’t pick stuff up to add to a box in his inventory. That way the damn undead can’t get raised. Good job with the cloud of daggers at a choke point!

May I ask how you are inflicting reverberation by shoving. My guess is it’s your “Boots of Stormy Clamour” but I’m not sure where the condition to proc them is coming from by using shove.

It's probably the boots. I'm going to post my gear in the next video. I'll see if I can pin point it by then. I noticed it awhile ago and just kept shoving :)

How do they become stunned? I noticed that in your previous videos but couldn't get it. Cool contactless fighting strategy with that 21 fat ass armor class. And also I didn't get the point of using wood club, could you please explain? Thank you for answering my questions in previous vids btw :)

It's the Volatile Shield that explodes which creates an AOE stun effect for those that are close enough :)

Do you if when you use control undead on the death pompiers he can use his ress undead to ress our summon? I was theoricrafting a build that would use this..

Hah yea it is what it is. I don't mind using haste but didn't feel like the correct choice for the fight since I needed to do spread damage

It doesn't work since a few patches ago. It does the animation but no save and no effect :(

Btw @@FriendlyLich you can turn off the shield bash prompt from the reactions menu, just turn off the button on the left and it won't ever use/ask you again (unless you get another shield with it I think).
