i have the Vintage Matchbox version.i think you had issues because you insulted him saying he was not as good as Lions Voltron. I love the Mattel Voltron Lion Figure that doesn't split-up. I wish they made Dairugger XV and Albegas, also (i just call them their original names...it's easier)
@@masonj4779 Dairugger XV is easier and sounds better than Vehicle Voltron. Same especially for Albegas than gladiator Voltron …yes, their original names are shorter and easier
I have this one and the lion Soul of Chokin chicken Voltrons'. Imo, making a combiner this small it should either have locking connections, like how Transformers are done or just do like Super 7, make a non-transforming one. Most of us will keep it in Robot mode anyway. I would love to have a fully diecast non combiner, so you can get them into some real dynamic poses. Mike, I'm glad you didn't disappoint, I thought you were gonna leave out "...and I'll form the head", after you didn't say any of the other parts.
I just got mine today…gotta say a noble effort to package Vehicle Voltron in 7 inches but it’s ok. Had to get a replacement sadly as on of the Sea Team’s pieces broke off due to poor quality plastic fastener when I flipped to connect to hip. BBTS customer svc saved my overall experience. Still cool to grab this rare Voltron 😊
Thank for this review… (and all your others)… For me, this confirms that I’ll pass… ‘cause it’s too small… However I am getting their Lion version… which I think is the most too accurate with Black Lion’s upper arms grey/silver…

Are they doing a lion version? Is it going to be anime accurate? Because I was thinking about buying the SMP version, but if they're going to do a regular figure in this scale, I'll go with that.
For the legs coming loose too easily, if you have it positioned kicking to the sideways; you will be able to push the leg and hear a click. It won't come off easily after that. You won't be able to hear that click if you are pushing the leg upward into the connector.
@@troyanderson3669 Sorry to hear that. Initially, I was super disappointed with the leg connection. But once I did the sideways push, it was very secure. So secure that pulling it off requires force that may eventually snap the small peg.
As a kid I thought it was Air, Land and (A,B,) C team. I would never call water the Sea. Lakes, Ocean, but never the sea. A friend had to explain it to me when I wondered why it wasnt A ( air) and some B word for the ground. I love this version of Voltron almost more than the lions.
There were so many bootlegged versions of Dairugger XV since the early '90s that resurfaced when online selling-buying became prominent. But this is probably the best official figure for its scale and it can separate into its three teams.
He looks so cool Mike! The red ship seems well portioned to the body. This vehicle Voltron can be placed in so many articulated positions which is a bonus. He is smaller than Earth Rise Optimus Prime so the price to me should have been lowered. To justify the lower price you did say he feels a bit cheap. I would say the price should not be more than $45 IMO. He does look good! 👍
smaller than expected (given the price) and also more parts forming than expected. I wish i was scalled closer to the Golion model kit voltron that came out 3-4 years ago
