You really need to apply a lot of force to the thigh pieces when you connect them. It might help to give a slight back and forth twist at the last moment. They should sit flush with the pelvis with no visible gaps and then they will stay attached firmly. Makes a world of difference. Same with feet. Some of the connections are fiddly, for sure, but they had to make constraints for the size. Same for the partsforming and fillers. There was no way that they would have been able to incorporate sliding panels for the face or legs that would have been durable enough.

@@thegoodthebadtheawesome Mine were exactly the same when I first assembled him. You do need a fair bit of pressure the first time. You'll hear a click, and they will lock into place very solidly. I can hold mine upside-down by his leg and shake him and he stays together just fine. After the first assembly it no longer needs so much force to put together, but still stays connected very well.

You need to push until you hear or feel something click, it's the same with all the connection points, after that it will be pretty stable. Also it scales with the other Mini action super robots like combattler v, daimos, voltes v and other super robots. So you can collect them without worrying about shelf space😊

You can get his legs to stay in his torso more secure. When you reveal the post that connects to the torso you will notice a notch on both posts. If you push the leg completely into the torso you will hear an feel a click indicating that it is locked in place. Same thing with other parts on him as well

Reminds me of the small die cast VF Voltron that Matchbox released back in the day. That one did not transformer if I remember correctly.

The leg's on mine had trouble with staying in but if you push harder then the leg's will stay in and its perfect

Best thing about this is how accurate it is. The colours and proportions, it’s brilliant. Holds poses really well too. Issue is. The top of the thigh connect ports. It’s a shame they couldn’t have come up with a better method for the ports to connect to be a lot more sturdy. Managing the figure in Voltron mode, make sure you don’t hold it high as legs, and arms will fall off, and the chest piece too. I’m really happy I got mine, as I grew up watching the show. Doesn’t scale with other figures and is a lot smaller than I expected but its accuracy and look, makes it a keeper.

This isn't an action figure. It's a display piece. That doesn't mean that a lot of thought didn't go into this, and the engineering is fantastic for what they were able to accomplish. It is very durable and made to be "played" with if you keep your expectations in check. All parts do stay securely in place if connected fully, so don't let the problems that this reviewer has dissuade you from a purchase. After a few times back and forth from vehicles to combined form, the connections are easier to make. It's worth every penny. If you have any doubts about posability or articulation, check out this pictorial review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dZI2PNTMMMs.htmlsi=Vgn5b0xLnO5D6fbw Crazy poses there. Yeah, he uses a stand for some, but still. This thing is tiny and made of 15 individual interlocking parts. I don't know how any fan of Dairugger/Voltron would not be impressed and love this thing. If you do grab this, do watch out for the red wing stabilizers on the red chest piece. They are separate parts and can and will fall off. I finally put a small dab of super glue in the sockets to keep them in place.

It’s not bad at all. It stays together quite well in all modes. Poses about as well as any other action figure. Does all the modes Vehicle Voltron is supposed to do. What more could you be expecting?

Dude. You're missing out. Sacrifices had to be made for the size. I'd rather have a face plate and a few fillers than flimsy pieces of sliding plastic prone to breaking after a few transformations. The other thing to note here is that the combined form has the anime proportions and wasn't modeled after the toy or the Bandai SOC which is a whole lot chunkier. This is really well done.

@@ericmorneau7708 I have been adverse to partsforming since I was a kid. If I lose the jet plate or worse, the face, the figure is essentially junk. The other bits I could have probably over looked as they were less essential. There were other creative ways they could have handled the face even at this size. I have seen other figures this size handle something like this better. I appreciate you trying to make sure I won't regret not getting this, but partsforming, especially the face makes this an easy pass.
