I feel like the truest form of activism is not happening because the world is asleep. People would rather do performative activism. If it was true activism, the gov would be threatened and you would actually be kiIIed and the plans to end oppression from furthering, if it was actually doing something. These protests aren't doing much or saving people from having severed limbs. We can make as much dua as we want but AIIah isn't going to help due to our lack of action or willingness to risk our Iives as well. Many muslims and people still go on daily, watching funny videos, going out to eat, and spending money frivolously as there are so many of our brothers and sisters suffering. Nothing will change if we don't change.
