Cedric, beyond being a great actor, I think you have all the elements to be a great director as well. I like the details you see in the presentations and explanations you give of them with their possible meaning, I love that in your reactions. on the other hand Dimash only surpasses himself. Incredibly when you see a presentation of him that you already think is exceptional, it makes you another of the same song even better, that shows the progress of his skills and the new approaches to where he can take a song to improve it. I think we are far from seeing the ceiling of the development of his skills because Dimash is tireless. He spends 3 hours a day taking singing classes with his teachers to keep improving. On some occasion he said that there are things that he no longer does if they are not necessary, that he now takes more care of the details. this guy is amazing, he is taking singing to a new level and by the way brings with him a wonderful new instrumental sound. Cedric you are so endearing, once again I love your perspective on this live. We must appreciate Dimash's brilliance and genius, he is a once in a lifetime gem that we get to witness. To sing a song in the same manner over and over again is just repetition. To bring new awareness and depth into the structure of the song based on many external factors, I find are brilliant and fresh. This performance is incredible but it's an abbreviated version of the song where he doesn't even sing the last verse. Cedric do you understand how Dimash does what he does? In simplicity genetics, extensive training, and a deformaty in his favor of having much larger vocal folds than normal. Thats how he is who he is in a simple format, add love of music and the humble, kind, charitable, loving person he is on top of that. He does another version he raps in.

This is a reality show where Dimash is part of a team and they do different things competing with the other teams. Dimash in this performance of Stranger put on a crazy show that you must see. I always enjoy your reactions and explanations of what and why things are happening. By the way, that jump is a Dimash thing. We’ve seen that since he started his concerts. When he sings the Queen medley on Singer he does that but you can’t actually see his feet but there’s no doubt he did it. Watching Dimash is something new every time…..even the same song. Dimash can have one song and have so many versions of it, it’s always like listening to a different song. That’s how we can tell also that he is singing live, he gave it all when he performs and owns it. I love that you pointed out his understanding and amazing application of harmonics and music theory at the beginning of your reaction! It's so rarely acknowledged. As usual, I learned something new from you about the details of the production and their significance. Also, you really must watch Screaming 2021 from the Digital Concert. At least see it for yourself--I know there's more and more issues with copyright on his videos. At the end of Dimash's live concerts, it's usually the penultimate song, and he sings it for over 20 minutes, while he introduces and thanks each band member, backup singer, and various producers (always the his sound producer who is a close friend, but sometimes others as well), and the entire time, he's riffing and playing around with the song. He also usually jumps off the stage and into the audience (to the great consternation of his security!) to interact directly with some of his fans, because he really loves us! The version from the Digital Concert contains some footage from previous live concerts, so you can get a feel for it. His genius as a musician and vocalist is astounding, but his generosity to his colleagues and fans is just as amazing. Personal comment: The pink shirt you are wearing really intensified your blue eyes! It's a great color for you!

I simply like your explanation of what you are experiencing at the moment. You are all over the place with all kinds of details. If I were a blind person, your reactions would benefit me greatly.

Dimash went from movie video version to live version with rap to this, where he removed the rap and put back some of his background vocals from the MV version which-as you noted-he sang himself. He's always changing and evolving. The one thing I've noticed about him after I saw his performances in Sochi and at New Wave and now in China is that his voice has gotten better, which is amazing because I already thought it was perfect. His high notes seem to come more easily to him and he can now sing lower than he ever has. This tells me that while he was stuck in Kazakhstan because of COVID he was still working and training like crazy and he's extended his vocal range. His latest release is "IKANAIDE" - which he performed remotely for the Tokyo Jazz Festival - the first time that he's sung a song in Japanese. Please watch and review that. Beautiful. Good to see you, Cedric. The cool thing about Dimash performing "Screaming" is that he does it differently every time. Sometimes he raps on it, sometimes he goes classically operatic, sometimes he goes ethnic chanting, sometimes more rock, sometimes more pop, or even R&B when his touring musicians are each given instrumental solos accompanied by Dimash's improvised vocalizations. He clearly loves performing this song. He seems delighted to keep finding new, surprising ways to re-invent it, maybe because of its deceptive simplicity.

Dimash does his live version of the song, each time with some variation compare to the studio track, so when singing live, no one can say that he is lip syncing. He is an artist, so he gets very creative, plus, he has the gift of absolute pitch, so he knows exactly what note he wants to hit and even on those spontaneous rift and runs. He has amazing style! He is very particular about what he wears. If he doesn't like it, he wouldn't wear it. He is built like a fashion model too: 6'3" and slim... What more can I say?
