Okay, but does everyone remember Tom Hiddleston showing up as Loki at the 2013 comic-con and shushing the whole crowd just by putting a finger to his lips? What an icon!
yeah, she's great, isn't she? ha ha. she's like "the absolute God of Hyperdeath" a.k.a. the legendary being made out of every soul in the "underground."
There should be a group of ruffians who tracks down the people who leave this comment beneath each of Caitlin's videos and breaks a couple of their fingers.
To be fair I don't know how I'd react if everyone lost their shit for minutes on end when I walked into a a room. It's gotta get uncomfortable for a lot of celebs.
Look up Chris Jericho’s 2012 return. After being away for a few years he comes out to a huge ovation, goads the crowd to keep cheering, then leaves without doing anything. 2nd funniest thing in wrestling ever.
I worked at a comic convention and got to meet some actors, the ones who didn't stay for the after parties were just like this lmao but the ones who stayed were really chill and fun. but this made me laugh so hard
@@woah0449 That « precious bean » crap makes my skin crawl from cringe 🥶 like how do they unironically say that and keep on with their day as if they didn’t commit embarrassement in front of everyone 🥶
@@woah0449 And they always say that about the blandest most generic-est Hollywood actors like- why do they need to be protected? And from what? Like stop simping for celebrities, it’s so cringe 😭💀💀
The talent Caitlin has is unmatched. She takes characters I have never heard of in situations I know nothing about and projects it in such a way I KNOW it's accurate and it's so relatable I now have a passionate disdain for them. Incredible.
The only actors I’ve ever met at comic-con were Charles Martinet, David Hayter, and Steve Blum. (all are voice actors but whatever) I didn’t really talk to Steve Blum because I was more just along for the ride with a friend but when I met David Hayter and Charles Martinet their lines were fully empty so I got to just chat with them for a few minutes and both of them were such sweethearts and I hope I can meet them again some day. None of the fake humility bullshit, just genuine down to earth people. I’d imagine it has something to do with how voice actors are less recognized due to not having their physical appearances tied to their performance. Because while probably more people know Mario than Iron Man, I’d be willing to bet far more people know RDJ than Charles Martinet. Plus one of the best part about both of them was you could really tell how much they truly loved doing what they do. Great guys, if you ever see them at a con and are a fan of their work, definitely go meet them.
Most actors aren't like this in my experience. Henry Winkler, Lindsay Wagner, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Michael Landon, Mark Hamill, Bea Arthur (from Golden Girls), etc, from those eras were humble and easy to work with. Maybe social media had changed things?
for everyone commenting that they’ve never been to a comic con but reckon this is on the money… i’ve been to a good few and she’s being 100% accurate, especially when it comes to actors from the states. british actors don’t generally drag their initial entrances out like this in my experience.
The British tend to not drag things out past their prime or enjoyment, in general. Look at how short their series are. American network TV shows could never.
@@parryyotter not true lol, shows like Coronation Street have 60 fucking seasons. As an American I agree with most America slander but this is just not true imo lmao.
In like the first 15 seconds she just transitions from Tom Hiddleston with the 'lean back, hands up, slap thighs' greeting to Loki-mocking-Cap with the salute to Chris Evans with the 'oh my god'
@@fever1055 In a world where a good performance has always earned the adoration of fans, shouldn't every actor who's objectively done a good job expect to get the applause?
Dude, Caitlin is absolutely nuts. I've never seen someone actually pull off all of these insanely specific characters with such precision. I've met some of these people. She acts exactly like them.
@@zyldaranindita9280 A comic book convention or comic con is an event with a primary focus on comic books and comic book culture, in which comic book fans gather to meet creators, experts, and each other. Commonly, comic conventions are multi-day events hosted at convention centers, hotels, or college campuses.
She's so so so good at the top-down, aliens looking at humans for their behavior oddities and awkwardness. It's hard to even watch these. And that's the biggest compliment I can grant.
I would really love her to do a celebrity sitting in the front row of a high end fashion show. Nothing against the artists who create the garments but the concept of people watching people walk past them wearing clothes always seems strange to me.
“As soon as they told me they were needing Plastic Man, I accepted immediately without reading the script, specially knowing that Daniel Farrands was going to direct it”.
The brilliance is that when she becomes famous and acts like this at a Comic Con it just reinforces the bit as a throwback and she can never look pompous 😂
I look forward to this day. I wonder what character she'll play when Joss Whedon adds her to the MCU cast. TBF, what else can an actor say at Comic Con? How many fans would actually listen if they spoke in complete paragraphs?
Every single video of yours I instinctively close it within a second because of your skills, then go back and watch it out of respect for them. I'm sure this is the sentiment you usually get but the way you can convey so much about a character that you can cause such *visceral* disdain before a word has left their mouth is nothing short of brilliance.
you forgot the part where they stand in their character's signature pose for a solid minute, looking around at every camera and then let out a huge laugh while looking at someone offstage
You know how Trey Kennedy has perfected acting the stereotypical woman without wearing a wig/bla ket thingy? She has totally captured the essence of a 25 year old man with a somewhat successful role in a 67% Rotten Tomatoes series. Love your videos :)))))
Yes. I love Comic Cons and Anime Cons, and it's all like this. "Who let the kids in here?" XD Some parents be heralding in the next generation of nerds. It's real, and I wish they had been my parents
Oh my 8yr old has been going to NYComicCon since she was a little over a year old and we dressed her up like Nibbler for our family Futurama costume. Bring On The Black Girl Nerd Magic!!!
You are utterly brilliant. I've only just come across your channel. Now I can't not watch anything of yours that pops up. Thanks for the awesome entertainment. You've got a massive fan in New Zealand.
When I go to cons it's this sad feeling seeing the B-rated actors at booths with no one there. I think 'awww Ill go over and cheer them up' but then I'm like 'do I really care about meeting the original voice of Ash Ketchum? eeeeee'
