Just found this Video again... One year ago I watched it and tried those acupressure points on my wife. 4hrs later her contractions started and 12hrs later our son was born :)
The most common point in acupressure therapy, the large intestine 4 point (LI4) is known as Hegu, meaning “joining valley.” It's located on the back of the hand, deep between the webbing of your thumb and pointer finger. Like BL67, the LI4 point is believed to induce labor.👍
Daily Dose of Medicine I think she mentioned that one in her inducing labor video! I’m sure she didn’t want to reiterate, but it’d definitely be nice to have them all together ☺️
This was the last video I watch before going into labor with my last kiddo. Husband did the pressure for about 30 sec each and I woke up at 4am in labor the next day! My due date was Jan 21 and I gave birth at 3pm on Jan 17
Sorry if this is personal but how many weeks were you when you tried? My due date is coming up around the corner and Im so tired and over all the pain lol
@@maddiedarling6002 I was 41 weeks and I hadn't tried before that night so could have just been my time. But I had tried everything else before that without a single contraction.
@@brittanyhammer7968 I did it for about 20 minutes on both legs off and on for about an hour and a half. They stayed regular afterwards and I did not need anymore. I got to about 5cm in about 3 hours from that.
Thank you for the content, it's wonderful. I do have a price of feedback, and that is to stop using the word "mama" so consistently when talking. I understand that this can be aimed at the partner or someone helping the one that's pregnant, but the word "mama" is so overplayed and feels forced. It could just be me and my raging hormones of being 9 months pregnant. There are lots of other great ways to talk about the pregnant lady other than constantly calling her "mama".
