2008 TL Type S, 110,000 miles. Ran over very deep pot hole from a stop light. Left drive shaft broke. Car will not move in gear forward or reverse. Vehicle towed to residence. Driveway has a downward slope. Transmission will not lock in gear to prevent movement. Only stationary with hand brake and/or wheel chock. Did I break the transmission?

What is the typical cost of a complete rebuild? Talking engine service, paint and body work, dash replace and other interior components. I know it’s depending on what all needs to be done but based on what’s listed above .... ball park figure ?
