@@bartleskeet1623 you must live under a rock. Pistons and rods Honda is smoking most cars on the streets. Pistons rods is 700 plus wheel capable. Simple k series with 250 dollar rods from China and aftermarket pistons made 850 whp. AWD eg runs 3.95 60-130 which is faster than 98% of all cars on the road.

tq is as important as hourly wage. hp is salary. tq without making hp is completely pointless. hp to weight ratio is what matters. 150hp using 100lbs of tq is still better than 130hp using 300lbs of tq. hp is energy, tq is not
@@chaztitan6457 Well, odd as it sounds, you can have low HP and gobs of torque, it just becomes a gear ratio game. Something not accounted for in your equation. See AP1 - AP2 (S2000)

Both of these cars are sooo sick! Ive always wanted a DC2 Type R, but they are quickly becoming unobtainable now, and I just love the setup of the S2000, motor revs to the moon, geared really well. They definitely dont make them like they used too anymore, so good!

Seeing these cars and hearing Nads talk about them takes me back to my youth, swiping a copy of Super Street Magazine and sitting in the breakroom at work dreaming about customizing my Civic and having a jdm race car. Awesome.
I've owned both cars and currently still own an s2000. The s2000 is much faster than the integra type r. Even going by official quarter mile numbers it's not really close.
@@sknz63 I also believe what you're saying :-) I think if you had a first timer in the S2000 and someone who nailed every shift perfect in the Integra it could punk the S2000... once. But it would be easy to figure out the mistakes in the S2000. How accurate are the tachs over at Honda? The needle can lie and lag but the gearing can't.

This episode brought me so much joy and sorrow as I remember being a young man seeing a yellow S2000 on the used car lot and realizing I could afford it so I then go and try to wedge my then 6'2" 270lb, athletic at the time, body in the seat just to not be able to close the door. Heartbreaking.

I gotta say, Nads and Hert are my two favourite people on this show. I absolutely love Nads's enthusiasm and infectious excitement for hondas, and hert, hert is just rad. Plus his style with drifting where hes basically fucking tapdancing on the pedals is super entertaining.
