Congrats man, they look amazing 👍👏 just wanted to thank you for all of your patience and for taking the time to teach us all of these awesome things and projects, your an amazing workshop teacher 💪 keep them coming...also thank you for the link
Love your videos man, one of the cleanest 4gtls no cap. Have you ever thought about vossens for the car? With the set up you have, it would be cleeeaann
Try to get the SH-AWD model if you can man. The FWD model is still fast af for a beginner sports car tho that’s what I’ve got and it’s more than enough power to get up to 150mph and the handling is pretty good too
Where did you get the white parking bulb that replaced the amber one? I’m about to purchase these headlights using your code, but since they don’t come with any bulbs. I would like to find the white bulbs first. Or else I would be defeating my purpose of getting these headlights.
I appreciate this video greatly, as there aren’t many people doing mod videos on the 4th-Gen TL. Your setup looks sick!!! Also, how much did the headlights set you back?
U could go single exit but if try to fabricate a way so it sould still look like a quad set up for looks but would just be really have one exit where exhaust is flowing out from
These are depo headlamps but I don’t see how water would enter the lamps. They’re so identical to OEM lamps and I didn’t see any flaws on these so far so good. They’re also DOT stamped approved
Nice bro, probably just my luck. I replaced my headlights with Depo ones, they both did leak. But the driver side got better once I sealed around it with silicone. Now only my passenger side is being a PITA. I did order the clear corners and will be baking both sides open. I hope with the Morimoto OEM grade butyl will be my permanent fix.
Quick question. Were the high beams LeDs or you did that after the fact? I’m considering putting LED high beams, trying to get the HIGHEST light possible
Thanks for the informative video. How are they holding up after a month? Any moisture? Any issues with up/down, left/right aiming? My OEM lights are cracked and this seem to be a good replacement.
They are holding up really well no moisture it’s just like the stock ones. Only thing I had to do was change the aim going up since it was down too far 👍
@@GarrettMedia Appreciate the reply. Would you be able to do a quick night drive video with a wall shot of the bean pattern with low and high beams? Thank you.
One thing I did notice right away was how whiter and brighter the light is compared to the original lamps I had. The cut off seems crispier too which was really nice 👍
@@GarrettMedia oh jeez no wonder why haha, yo I'm sitting here watching you = like yooo this dude definitely didn't just watch a RU-vid video too get that bumper off so easily by yourself haha, AND then the hids are a totally a pain in the ass but you made that shit look easy haha, and the bracket that holds the headlight in place/ yoooooo why did they make it so hard to get to these lights haha, gotta remove the damm bumper just to replace a bulb huh
Congratulations on the TL I’m running stock HID bulbs currently....your low beam bulbs should be HID bulbs but the height beams are the regular halogen bulbs. You can change those to LED bulbs.
Brooo yet another good video, use a little more lighting but besides that awesome edits and montage, people finna learn a lot from you Keep it up love you from Lil bro
Yes I do a slight condensation in the headlamps. I will be using the original headlamp cap, seals, and original corner bulb sockets. Hopefully that will fix it
