I’d love to know what rims you’ve got… I have an 06 Acura TL and the previous owner put 20’s on it and tore up the fender liner along with the actual fenders. I’m trying to figure out a decent coilover/rim set up. But not many TL owners are generous with that info. Also are you using front and rear camber kits?

@@hdua6772 actually a funny story about the BMW its 1993 something like that My dad was driving on the 405 freeway he's going up to Los Angeles My dad used to work for Southern California Edison And he worked at power plants And they were all over OC LA County and San Diego County we're from OC So For 30 years everyday my dad would drive up to Los Angeles to go to work which is an hour drive. It was 93 This was a time before there was that center guard rail on the freeway And it was just this steel pole but there wasn't anything from stopping anything from sliding under it. There was a semi truck going down the south side giant piece of steel fell off the truck and slid underneath the guard rail into the carpool line where my dad was driving. My dad's like oh shit But he couldn't switch lanes because there was a person to his right and a person behind him So he just hit the throttle and hit the giant piece of steel he said the car jumped over it but then he said it made a huge bounce and then he looked at the dashboard and literally every single light on that dashboard lit up he had to pull over to the side of the road he said this was in Long Beach turn off the car looked underneath It ripped the whole oil pan off And did a bunch of other damage So he Got it flatbedded to the BMW dealership It there for about a week until the insurance adjuster came to see the damage looked at the car and immediately said Totaled well this was 1993 My dad was living with my mom at the time And he was broke So what did he do he decided to buy the car back from the insurance and ask the BMW guys just to rebuild the car as cheaply as humanly possible So that's what they did It was like $400 at the time to rebuild it And he got it back And he drove it for another couple years until about late 1999. Sorry for the long story but it jogged my memory and it's a good read

@@hdua6772 yep California freeways are not like that these days Southern California there's now concrete barriers separating North and South or East and West depending on what freeway/toll road you're on

@@hdua6772 I also asked him if it was fun for him to go airborne he said no lol he also said if he had any money he would have bought another car and not buy back the salvaged one but when your broke desperate times call for desperate measures

Yeah if you're just cruising and occasionally get on it, you got 20-21 mpgs. On highway you can hit low 30s if you're being good 😁

Well the resonator won’t change the volume too much but it’ll definitely help out with cabin drones. So if you want to be louder with minimal drone I’d get the dyno max resonator

@@hdua6772 yup 7th gen. Im putting a refreshed j35a6 in i was hoping to find sone a8 heads to put on but i couldnt find any

@@dc4vato715 how come you didn’t do a j37? They have dual vtec and easier to tune then the 35

@@hdua6772 because i didny have the money for a new bellhousing ath the time cause if i was going j37 it was gonna be the one out of the tl. I can swap the crank and pistons into the j35 if i want to anyway. So it was just nore cost effective really, and i was having a hard time finding a engine in the first place lol
