I couldn't agree more with Adam and his indifference to the sensitivities people have with the delivery of his message. He has high expectations of ALL adults and he doesn't believe his message should be lost because some people are offended by some of the words he uses. I love this guy, and I can relate completely with his point.

I can't tell you how pissed off I was when the department of education rejected my 50 million dollar bid to provide them with a school to prison circus cannon system for my competitors pipeline system.

Way back when Drew and Adam did Loveline on the radio (and tv too I think?), Adam was presented as "the cocky blue collar jokester," and Drew was presented as "the high class intellectual." And Adam's "rants" always seemed "crude and long-winded." But now that Adam has been doing this so long, you can see that ADAM IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN THE INTELLECTUAL! He gives analogies that are down to earth. But all of his positions are quite intellectual and well researched, not just emotional reactions.

If I was told that the "system" was going to keep me down regardless of what I did.....I wouldn't bother studying or working hard either.

Adam is absolutely right. He need not worry about whether he is sufficiently pleasing the Hollywood elite. He needs to worry about pleasing his actual audience of normal Americans, the vast majority of whom are sick and tired of political correctness.

We well experience true progress when the average guy doesn't think every black guy he sees is traumatized by the past AND even moreso when the everyday black guy isn't deceiving himself with the idea that trauma from slavery is the reason why he didn't amount to anything. As, as a Jew I DO get offended when people willy-nilly compare everyone to a Nazi. We "don't care" because we get dumped on so much, if we had outrage at every time this happened we wouldn't be able to do anything else. But Adam is spot on, I have no issue with what he says, and if more people brought this up we might have some faith in humanity. And, "Chinaman" - see that's my issue with this debate. My mom grew up with the term "orientals". She still uses it. She's 70. Do others not have the sensitivity to see older people might use older terms, and may not mean anything offensive by it? If not being called a Nazi means having to revamp your terminology every 10 years, then maybe some people need to be offended. And driven out of the conversation.

It is about control, solving the problem takes away a very important tool of manipulation. Most people are decent human beings, for the most part, and wish overall to be helpful to others. Thus you can use crisis to manipulate people into doing and voting the way you wish by playing upon their fears, guilt, and good intentions. “Never let a crisis go to waste” These words are attributed to many different people but it puts it clear that people are far more willing to defer to perceived authority figures, or someone shouting that they have the answer, and take them at face value. Now make every little problem in society sound far more serious than it actually is and really squeeze everything they can out of the real societal problems and you have a solid system of control. The political party/ideology that is the master of this kind of manipulation will always be in power even if they don't hold office.

So I guess being murdered by the hundreds of thousands is easier to deal with while you’re still alive. wow. I think Dr Drew really is a woman. You can't have a logical discussion to solve a problem if you are all emotional and offended by every other word. instead of focusing on how someone expresses their ideas, focus on what they are saying.

I keep hearing this "adjust your language" thing from more than just Dr. Drew and each time I have to ask how? Of course, nobody has an answer because there is none. Every time you do it, you have to do it again until it destroys your meaning and now means something else.

So-called "Doctor" Drew ruined this show. The first thing he says is virtually anything can be interpreted as hate speech, depending on how it sounds to the person hearing it. Saying "hello" could be hate speech under this definition. Hate speech is supposedly defined as _speech that is intended to insult, offend, or intimidate a person because of some trait_. Which means any sort of insult can be considered hate speech. What happened to the first amendment in this country? You can't say certain things because people might be offended somewhere? This is how the Left keeps everyone walking on eggshells. And the funny part is that this so-called hate speech is only considered when speaking about certain groups. Then he says the problem is Carolla, not the huge leaps in logic that the other party is making, but that Carolla isn't using "Soft" enough language. FAMILY AND EDUCATION. Now address the lack of family. Single mothers raising children, for example. Dead beat dads being another. Lack of community and support being the major thing lacking to even have a the ability to learn anything. Are you assuming that all children have functioning families?

Saying that "oh you can adjust your speech so it doesn't sounds racist" is just the wrong approach. Doing that means that you shift the task of determining whether something is racist from your intent to the speaker's perception. That means an asshole can come along and decide everyone they don't like is a racist, meanwhile pushing their own ideas as the one truth. Why would we want a system like that, where one asshole gets to tell everyone how to behave?

If we would agree on the problem-lack of family values-we could fix it. First, do not judge or alienate any social structure. Second, understand that raising kids doesn't require intelligence, rather courage, patience and wisdom. Parents and teachers ought to teach our kids: graduate high school, get jobs, form a committed relationship, have a kid, raise your kids together, teach your kid to graduate high school...We need to help people get there at all cost.

From my perception there is more "classism" than racism. For example, how would a white person treat differently an African American dressed in a suit and tie over one dressed in baggy jeans pulled down half way, baseball cap and tennis shoes? You can do this for any ethnicity and you will find most people discriminate towards sub culture and financial classes in including whites. An African American crosses paths with a Harley Davidson Biker with tatoos or a white business man in a suit and tie. Which one will make them nervous? In other words, demographics.
