When I was 10 years old in los angeles, I had a small portable radio, and I'd listen to loveline when I was supposed to be sleeping. Adam Carolla is one of the solidest guys around. You can listen to him today or 25 years ago, and you couldn't tell the difference, he's the same guy. Because of that, you know he is genuine and not full of crap
@@jlshel42 Anthony talks a ton of 💩 about his fans to this day. On O&A he would frequently make comments that the callers contributed nothing to the show, but yet when you go back and listen he would indeed laugh at plenty of their contributions. He would also read off funny comments from the instant feedback and not give credit to or mention the person who said it, in fact there were many times he would play it off as an original thought. Say what you will about Opie, but he usually gave the fans their due.
But it's always relevant to the conversation and adds some insight. It's not like he's going on every show and asking "have you ever heard about the time I hooked up with the Russian mafia and robbed a train?"
Ya man I just last years stumbled upon Anthony and I love it. He has my out look on life just a honest basic dude. Me and my friend are exactly like this same humor and everything. This is the only way to see life.
I never consider that dude swimming to be irrelevant. I just block him out and look at who actually won the race. The person in second won the race. Perhaps one of those ladies should get a motorized watercraft for the race. Would that be fair?
When I was a kid we were poor, and got meal tickets at school for lunch. I was so embarrassed, I would go hungry, rather than use it in front of other kids. There was shame back in the 70's and 80's
These NY interviews Adams been doing have been great. Reminds me of old Adam. I had to stop listening to his show a year ago…thought he’d maybe had a stroke or something. Can’t wait to see him on Skanks!
I’ve recently returned to his show after about 2 years away also. He’s a funny bastard, & always has been, but yeah he can get a bit tiresome with his repetition of certain themes. However, his cohosts are far, far more intolerable. So yeah, I’m listening again, & trying to ignore Geena & Bald Bryan as much as I can.
I always thought these 2 would be the perfect duo for a show, because they had the same journey. They were both blue collar guys working on construction sites while listening to radio, who went on to meet some not-so-funny guys in radio that recognized thier talent, and the pairings rocketed to stardom.
@@DiggitySlice Ant doesn't give a fuck, he's just goofs on opie when opie actually obsessively attacks with bitterness. Opie still holds the grudge, ant just boolin
You can still teach your children and have them go to public school. But it takes constant monitoring and putting teachers in there place when they overstep their bounds.
anthony always seems to end these bigger interviews abruptly to the surprise of the guests just as they are getting into it. ask them. i bet they would go the whole 2 hours.
Great interview except when Cumia calls Carolla a "young man" 😆 🤣 😂. You've both been around since the Dead Sea was still sick and that's what makes this a great interview. Two old school Broadcasters turned Podcasters telling it like it is. Don't fall into the Hollywood media trap of thinking that 60 is the new 40 or 50 is the new 30 or whatever those jerkoffs push. Embrace your age and wisdom 🤔
It works for normal Americans. Your friends are your friends and you just stay away from politics and religion... you know... like we all did before 2010. Only azzh013$ keep trying to "convert" others.
Bill can’t, his black wife won’t let him. Damn shame, he used to be funny, instead he ended his bloodline by having kids that don’t look a thing like him
Two funny guys just sitting around shooting the breeze sharing their opinions and experiences, with some common sense and logic sprinkled in... How refreshing
I enjoyed carolla with Anthony andJim and Sam. I had assumed he was a bit of a soft-conservative and he may be, but he definitely seems smart and funny.
There’s no shame anymore because religion is dying. I’m not a religious person but I’m being to realize that it does serve a very important role in keeping societies moral’s intact.
The religion of Scientism is thriving. Your your own god, do as though wilt, no accountability and YOLO are the only rules. To me all religion is crap but a healthy fear of God and knowing that we have to answer for what we've done in this life is a good thing for society.
Sadly it may be needed. I have zero respect for those who need it, BUT that probably doesn't change the fact. Whatever keeps the pathetics in line, fine. I just keep away from them lol.
@@ryanscarborough6703 Someone being their own god has nothing to do with so-called scientism, dude. In case you haven't noticed, a mark of the woke idi0tz is total dismissal of science, and calling it "white supremacism" LOL. Anyway, fear of some skyman MAY be needed for the inferiors, but it is still BS, you know this. And there is no answering for anything once we are dead; what are you talking about?
I can imagine being at a backyard BBQ, with these two guys just having a conversation while sitting in lawn chairs, having a beer, while we wait for the sun to go down so we can shoot fireworks.
its sad that your fantasy involves just listening to them...it used to be that people fantasized about interacting with celebrities themselves. we are becoming good screenpeople cogs
If Adam Carolla is reading my suggestion is that the word movement needs to have the word bowel reattach to the beginning. That I think would definitely get rid of the word movement
