He sound a lot like his father Leonard Cohen. Love his style. And you know what .. this song is great! So is What Kind of Woman, So Much to Learn, Love is, What Other Guy .. and the song "Like a Man" reminds me of his father. Great talent .. keep on creating good music Adam! And we will miss your father too. He has touched our lives through out the years with his soul. We will play and sing his music always. We are looking forward to more from you Adam Cohen.

I like this song Adam's voice is a bit like his dad's but it is also a very beautiful and unique on its own, it has this sweet independence that I love. I think we will see more him on a different level. He surely has the artistic capacity and the sincere approach. To be fair and honest I did not like all of his songs, but then again this is only me who always preferred rock music. Not bad but not my cup of tea. I am looking forward though to see more from him. Oh and I love this song too much for some reason.

Googled L. C's son for 1st time. Interesting song. I can see the 'family' mouth. Voice would need a 100.000 cigarettes to sound similar, but good........ I'll be looking up some more. A damn fine innings his father had. He just seemed to get better with age (which is encouraging....)

Personally, I think the ending of the video (which, is quite clearly NOT indicated in the lyrics in any way), in no way destroys the video. I think it adds a brilliant "Cohenesque" bit of humor, added as a twist in an also Cohenesque way. You have to understand his father's work pretty well in order to get what I'm saying here (i.e. If you think Leonard is depressing, you don't understand his work): Leonard Cohen has a powerful and beautiful sense of humor AND and deep and moving sense of the beauty of human nature AS IT IS, with all the flaws. He often combines these in his work, and I think whoever produced this video (was it Adam himself?) understands Leonard's body of work well and pull this off brilliantly. It's brings in shades of "Paper Thin Hotel", one of Leonard's funniest songs. (In which the funny twist is that he is overhearing someone who we can assume is his lover, making love in the next hotel room. Sounds grim. Except it is then revealed that he has his ear pressed against the wall so he can hear better! Absolutely hilarious. Takes that possibly depressing theme and in one line turns it on it's head and makes you smile and laugh.) Sometimes we also see the admitting of a human failure in Leonard's music (i.e. last line of Chelsea Hotel No. 2). This video does something similar. So this little twist at the end is extremely in-keeping, at least, Leonard's music, and I see it as a kind of homage to Cohenesqueness in his son's video... It made me smile and laugh and moved the video way up my list...
