NAILED IT! GREAT VIDEO! Just me........when I'm marshalling, I am always watching the handling of other drivers RCs. See their setups if they are driving dialed. If I notice someone struggling, I look at how it's handling. I will then go in the pits afterwards and ask if I can just look at something. I get permission first, then just do the simple checking of all suggested in this video and ask if they mind if I can make adjustments. Then run it again and let me know. I'm not saying i have the answers, but I like providing the basics.
Great info. I appreciate how you’re telling folks to go out and drive their cars and actually feel them out! I couldn’t believe when I got into racing how many cars I’ve seen with “user error” set up errors. 👍🏻
Can you suggest something if the car seems to push to much into corners and doesnt corner that well. Anyway for you to give a quick guide on different ride heights low to high do and what other adjustments do?
Hey Adam great video! I just built a tlr 8ight 4.0 and would like to know what you think a good set up would be for thunder alley as that's my local track. Thanks, have a nice day.
UK calling!! Pulled my tlr 8ight 2.0 nitro out of storage and still runs sweet but has no real steering off power. Is there anything set up wise that I could try?? Cheers..
I noticed that the stock turnbuckles I have on my MBX8 WE I cant use a wrench on them as they are round. Did you replace the stock ones with something different?
There are option parts available which can be adjusted with an open-end wrench. Mostly they are from titanium. Mybe FP2148 Lunsford Titanium Buggy Turnbuckle Set, or other.
Ciao Adam, abito in Italia e in questi giorni che sono chiuso in casa sto smontando la mia Mugen MBX6 ECO. Pensi sia una macchina ancora buona per fare delle gare?
@@AdamDrake He said "Is my MBX6 Eco still competitive for races in 2020 ??" I'm from Italy too and here Mugen is loved so much as a manufacturer . I'm still proudly running a MBX6 (yes the first model) to this day , amazing machine !! The rear just feels a bit nervous compared to Kyosho though.
