I started learning this as soon as I got a double kick. (Christmas 2020) it took me six months and I finally have the physical capability to play the intro beat
@@theUBERsashimi oh yeah I pretty much gave up because my left foot sucked and this song didn't help it. Also too much time and effort to learn the whole thing
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer lol, ya when he has his left foot playing between 3 or 4 different pedals, right foot playing 2 different pedals, and then just to take the piss-both his hands are playing different rhythms too! disgusting really
Musical understanding comes natural.. don't be decieved. The hard part is actually playing it without errors. Ur brain is capable of memorising anything if challenged enough. But muscle memory and muscle control is something u can't control and avoid. This is what should be appreciated instead. It's hard work to make it even 1 time perfectly on time. Insane drums composition.
As he sits down at the kit, the bass drums begin to sweat....The amount of endurance to maintain this level of leg abuse is amazing......calves must be on fire and need stretching afterwards 😅
Playing groups of 3 16th notes at a time on the right hand, playing ghost notes with a half note backbeat on the left hand, while maintaining a constantly displacing 16th/32nd note bass herta? Pffft. Amateur stuff...
+djent is totally a genre well a herta consists of two 32nd notes followed by two 16th notes (in this case), so I just put the dash there. When I put "16th/32nd" I was talking about one herta, with the 32nd note being the fastest note and the 16th being the slowest.
+Morgan Aubin hertas will always be followed by the last 2 notes being lower than the first 2 notes in terms of value (16th, 8th ect) just making sure you're not confused because 16th note passsages with 16th note hertas would sound alot slower. just making sure you don't confuse yourself bruh.
This fucking drum bet has everything, it's heavy, it's complex, it's filled with power, it's simple and it's even a little groovy. Edit: When I say simple I mean that it's a simple idea, it's not alot of fills it's just the drum beat in it's glory!!
Yes, this is an ideal, pure rhytm challenge, nothing excess, very simple concept, but try do the same, Tomas itself tried for several months to record it well)
Man he's got so much style on the kit. He's a well known drummer in the metal hardcore scene but he's good enough to be playing at major clinics and festivals like pasics and all the other big drum festivals. Very underrated. He's not just a metal drummer though, super versatile drummer. Got chops and groove for days.
Freaking killed it man! My only unsolicited critique: the snare sounds dead or something. Doesn't take away from the freaking insane job you did though. Need Moar
Ricky Buysse Yeah i thought about that too. Ive noticed that he does it in other videos as well. Its mind blowing how he can do that on top of that crazy bass lick
Thanks for doing more drum vids. That's some great drumming and I guess this songs doesn't need any stick tricks! 2:17 - 2:34 is extraordinary! Greetz from Germany! :)
Yowch. That is some serious drumming there. Just saw these guys live and I wonder if only drummers and musically talented folks can tell when they "fuck up" live.... I mean Haake played this 3rd to last I believe after about 8 or 9 other songs. Some of them slower and easier for sure, but I have no idea what is easy for drummers. I tried drumming once. I will stick to writing I think. I wish. Seems like it is fun. I just can't do anything with instruments like that. Amazing to watch this video though. A cool experience.
Mythical Gnome If you start by buying a pair of sticks and a pad, then use 30 min per day to practice different exercises for hands and feet, you WILL become significantly better after 6 months.
As an accomplished drummer of 26 years, I really appreciate the instructional videos that you record and upload.I will subscribe and watch a lot more of them,Thank you. Randyman.
I’ve been digging your chips since I stumbled across the Aurora video audiosync about a decade ago. I knew then that you were something special. Now I know for sure with this video.
Daniel Verberne it’s very unlikely to get leg cramps at least i haven’t got one. he’s practiced it so much that it is very natural to him . it’s more about building up the stamina and the co independence to play this
