I love how Adam stopped the last note when he realized Angie couldn't finish it. That was respectful. He could have kept the note going, but he knew it was HER spotlight. He sang within her limits and didn't use this as a time to outshine her. Just another reason he's my favorite.
You have great insight. He is such a professional when sing with anyone and never tries to upstage the other person. He held back when singing w group during S8. What a gentleman.
Adam could have smashed her vocals, so I would say she doesn't know how to do a duet property. You never outsing each other, and that's what she did. BTW, where is she now?
When you see her perform with Jessie J, Jessie clearly outperforms her and uses it as a stage to promote herself. Adam did the complete opposite, made her look good despite the fact we all know he is phenomenal. Proper way to mentor someone
JessieJ has a reputation for trying to upstage during duets. I have never liked her or bought any of her music. But Angie likes her. Don't think it was Angie's idea to have JJ join her on stage as she had already decided to duet w Adam. Producers made that decision to build up hype for the show.
Adam is a true gentleman. He could have taken over the spotlight (vocally) but was very respectful to Angie by allowing her to shine. Best duo during the finale. I haven't kept tabs on Angie but I'll assume she's heading up a rewarding career. Btw...I pray that this upcoming season of Idol trumps the previous one because it was in serious need of an overhaul. Only a few female singers were even worthy to be on the show but we all knew who screwed the season up.....the producers and coaches!!!!!
AMEN!!!!! The themes weir shit and Nikki Minaj was the worst judge in tv show history. She's not a singer. She's a heavely auto tuned rapper. Keith always sounded high. Randy tried to be gangsta and fails. Sad they dident keep Mariah though. :( only notable talent was angie. LOVE HER AND ADAM!!!
Dominic Harms Angie was the best talent last season. Candace had a good voice but not the whole package which is needed to be successful. I have to disagree about Mariah. She was very flighty and indecisive in her critiques of the contestants. She was viewed by many as the worst judge as far as expressing her views. Nikki was just down right obnoxious.
I wish I could meet Adam Lambert! I’m 73 yrs old now & was in awe with his talent, professionalism on American Idol voted till I was falling asleep with my on my ear. . I was in my 60’s then, & was so excited to hear his next performance.. So very Proud of him! Gosh! just so talented & amazing person! Blessings to him!
I knowhow you feel. I'm 60 now and watched his journey since Idol and recently saw Queen at the Garden in NY. It was amazing !!! I'll be a fan until I'm dust !!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
This song is too soft for Adam. He's trying to go high, but he knows he'll take her spotlight and he doesn't want to do that.. He's so humble and sweet.

Yea I'm gonna agree with a lot of the comments, adam was a true gentleman and a truly great duet partner here. Notice he always took the lower part of the harmonies, and would always let Angie take the melody when they sang together. They both sounded great.
Can you imagine going from being part of this competition and thinking of all of the amazing stars to duet with.. Then a few years down the line being asked to do one of the duets as one of the amazing stars..
Both should have won their seasons. She has a bright future and will be just as big as Adam I predict. He is amazing also and ssssooooo HOT!! I hope when she makes it big they collab again. I LOVE YOU ANGIE AND ADAM!!!!!!!!!

I love the way he smiles at her and gives her the props she deserves. It's her song and he graciously stepped aside and let her take the lead. He didn't have to of course because he is clearly the more popular but he did so anyway. Way to be classy.

Chile was their last show, SO GOOD! 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' - he's another Elvis, 'Who Wants To Live Forever' - vocal god, 'Fat Bottomed Girls' - sex god, ... I love Q+AL, he's the best frontman after Freddie Mercury! A true ROCK STAR!
Mrs. R.E.G.,N.Y.C. Adam is an otherworldly performer; as well as a true gentleman. He didn’t try to “upstage” her; although he easily could have. He is a “rare” gem in this otherwise “cutthroat” industry! “Idol” was obviously “fixed”. But Adam will be ICONIC forever!
