It's been SEVEN months, but Adam has turned his attention BACK to his 1/8 scale Ghostbusters Ecto-1 model kit build, picking up where he left off on the dashboard customization (stage 42). It's a lot of very tiny, very detailed work, but Adam is inspired after seeing a model FULLY ASSEMBLED during his recent visit to Ghost Corps. (Note: This was filmed as part of Adam's livestream build and Q&A on Nov. 9, 2021.)

Great to see this back. A little tip I learned from World of Wayne is to dip the M screws into a little oil (like 3 in 1). Makes them easier to screw in while ensuring things are tight, and protects the threads.

It’s good that Adam eventually found the e-brake part. I was missing the oil tank cap from my kit. I’m too impatient to contact Eaglemoss for them to send me the part so I fabricated my own oil tank cap; it was relatively easy. I’m sure if the e-brake was indeed missing from Adam’s kit, he would have no problem with fabricating the more intricate e-brake part. 👍

Eaglemoss is deceitful. just look at the number of complaints at the Better Business Bureau. I have been waiting for half a year and not received the 2nd round of issues for my ecto 1 build. And currently my delorean build has been halted for 3 months. Their response is they don't know when parts will come in. I am extremely frustrated with eaglemoss!!!

Eaglemoss has the worst customer service I've ever experienced, by far. Missed shipments, missing parts, duplicate parts, charge authorizations that are never collected on their end, a slew of "I owe you" flyers for the "extras" that I'm paying for. And every email I send to customer service is returned with the same canned autorespond email about calling their CS number if I want to change my credit card. I don't want to change my CC, but no one answers that number either. The quality of the model is great, but the service is awful.

It was watching Adam that got me excited about doinf a subscription build so earlier this year I started my Delorean build... I have been so frustrated with eaglemoss. I haven't received a new kit in over 4 months and that puts on hold any progress on an already lengthy build. Should I stick it out?

I just finished the EagleMoss James Bond DB5 build. I had to put up with some back ordered parts. The build was worth it, but dealing with Eaglemoss can be frustrating. Stick it out, it'll be worth it in the end.

Looks like you are missing some wires coming off that instrument panel. There should be a total of 7. (Short grey labeled F, Orange/White labeled H, Dual blue labeled C, Dual green labeled E, Blue/Green labeled D, long white labeled B and the brake switch labeled G) In order from right to left.

I'm sorry but my eaglemoss ECTO 1 are so going to be trashed and weathered so it looks like in the ghostbusters afterlife 😆🤭 it's going to hurt cause it's so new and shiny now but I can't help my self😂🤭
