when I saw the title and thumbnail I thought Adam was making a box inside the beaver, not a box for it

For a moment, I thought you were turning the taxidermied beaver into a box to use when you traveled. To be honest, that was what drew me to the video initially.

Not every day that I sit and watch a man build a box for his beaver for 30 minutes

I never thought I would watch a half hour long video on how to make a box to transport your stuffed beaver...

Oddly enough, that's not the first time I've seen sparks fly from a beaver... A metal chastity belt and a grinder were involved if I remember right. Brave woman.

This is the BEST job one could ever possibly have. I mean these people totally LOVE what they are doing, they put so much passion in it, its just ... amazing you know. It is very hard (at least for me it is) to find something you enjoy doing, and do it on a daily basis. I hope someday I will find a job that will make me as happy as these guys are.

Glue works by a range of mechanisms, molecular adhesion and mechanical fixation being the two primary ones. Glue itself is either an uncatalyzed polymer or a solid dissolved in a volatile liquid. Every surface will be very rough on a molecular level, and most will have large crevasses and cavities. A surface like paper will have tens of layers of fibers before the density become considerably high (look up an electron microscope picture of the materials). This lets liquids or pastes seep deep into the material before it hardens. Most of the resulting adhesion is due to mechanical forces (which are essentially electrical), you'll have a hard solid material surrounding several millions molecules (cellulose fibers for example). And these will stick in place for the same reason telephone book pages will (if you have seen the trick).

I love these one day builds, especially when it involves a box.

I have to imagine there aren't more than a dozen humans on the planet that have Adam's "I need to bring this beaver on the plane" problem. I really love this planet sometimes.

Always love when Adam is in the zone. Middle of the build and hes just running around the shop, hair is everywhere. That's when you know you got him in his zone. Love this series!

Nice project. I think it needs some additional internal padding. I'd hate to see the foot break from being mishandled. I know it's a carry-on, but there's a chance for damage in other situations.

I absolutely love watching Adam work on projects like this. The way he frantically runs aaround and does what he needs too is sort of beautiful. There's a confidence to the way he does it and a certain fluidity at the same time

Adam sure does love his boxes. And for some reason i find watching him make them hypnotising and seem to feel his genuine pleasure when the plan comes together in the end. Just wish my shed was a faction well equipped as his!

When I was 18 I worked for CIG - Commonwealth Industrial Gases as their "Little Beaver" spray painting demonstrator. Little beaver was their economical home spray painting kit - I was so naive I had not idea of the and no one told me for 6 months. So there I was a little blonde, in a skintight blue overall thinking that at each of the demonstrations(2 per week for 6 months in busy supermarket and hardware stores) that I was so entertaining that people were actually chuckling along at my jokes

What amazes me about these 1 day builds is the speed with which Adam moves around the shop. From taking measurements to making cuts and drilling holes, he makes short work of things!
