Honestly I think it needs to be brought up more & more that the only reason these pre-sentencing convictions exist is due to a 12 person jury that both the prosecution & Trump’s defense counsel agreed upon. Bragg & Merchan in no way forced this outcome because they didn’t need to. The prosecution presented to those 12 people an evidenced & reasoned legal case that convinced them of Trump’s guilt beyond reasonable doubt. The prosecution presented that case while, in between bouts of babysitting Trump to keep him from sleeping or pathetically trying to intimidate jurors & witnesses, the defense floundered with zero rational arguments or compelling & competent rebuttals to the facts & merits of the charges nor the evidence & testimony provided by the prosecution.
