it took a lot of things to come together, because the Braves had to cough up a major lead first. And, to do that, they had to be swept by the already clinched Phillies, something most clinched teams rarely do- send out top players to sweep a series when they've clinched. And Carpenter had to outduel Roy Halladay, another rarity for Doc to lose 1-0. Then, David Freese had to be lightning in a bottle, not only in the NLCS, but again in the World Series, that rarely happens as well since most who win it in the LCS usually go cold during the World Series. Things definitely worked out, but not without a lot of things coming together to do it.
His life story is very interesting. So sorry that his father skipped out on his responsibility. I'm glad to see he is religious, though I disagree with his religious belief's on the plan of Salvation. He is a first class quality guy. I've always been a fan of his since his start in baseball. On and on I could go. He is a good public speaker too with confidence.
