Thank you much for a job well done and spectacular video! Most of these videos only show the inside and not the outside with the finished product applied. Thank you for doing both!👍🏼
What film is this? I'd like to get some. My new house has a lot of glass directly against a deck and I'd like some privacy without loosing too much visibility. I saw you said 30% silver, do you have a manufacturer recommendation.
This video is great. If I want to keep the natural light coming in, keep the same look of the huge windows, but want privacy at night, what would you recommend? Thank you!
I want privacy from the outside but don’t want to lose light inside. The picture window we installed came with tint and I feel like I’m loosing natural light. Is this what I should use?
We would recommend a 30% silver reflective film. This film is the perfect shade to provide daytime privacy, but still let in most of the natural daytime light to fill up the room still like normal.
Hi guy! This is not really my thing therefore I need help from you who know more. I want a window film, Just for privacy so people can’t see me from the outside. Same time I want us much sunlight from outside us much. As much sun brightness from outside. So what is the best window film for me? Thank u for your help/tips.
Unfortunately, at night if you have on your lights and outside it is dark you will be able to see inside. However, a way to prevent being able to see inside at night is by having an outside light above the window.
What does this tint look like at night with say, a TV on inside or house lights and its dark outside the house? Can people then see inside? Want to know if I still need curtains for the night
Unfortunately, at night time if you have on the lights inside you will be able to see inside the home or business windows. The only way to create privacy at night time is too install frost window film on the window, OR have a bright light right outside the window to reflect off the window film and add privacy.
Have you ever installed a mirror tint over top or beneath a darker tint (ie 35% black or 20% black)? I like the 35% mirror on my car but I didn't want it as reflective. Is that a possibility?
We have never installed mirror tint on top or beneath a black tint, however, that will most likely make it very hard to see out the windows at night time when driving your vehicle.
@@nopointshorts5373 At night when the light is on you can see inside window or door. If it's dark inside (lights off completely) you can't see anything inside. If your outside you can only see a mirror reflection. During the day because it's bright outside you only see a reflection outside not what's inside.
The window film manufacture will work with you even if the company that installed the film goes out of business, as long as they give you the window film box number for the exact film they installed on your windows and a hand written warranty sheet you will be fine.
im also looking for the same answer as @gulf heart is asking. i dont want people to be able to see in from the outside of my business day or night. i do understand that someone can walk up to the glass from outside and see inside. but if they were lets say 2-3feet away from the outside glass can they readily see in at night or daytime even?
Hey Gulf Heart & Jay ! Your right, unfortunately at night time you can See inside if the light are on. However, a good way to prevent this is by having a light above the window on the outside to act like the sun, and make the window film reflect at night time which will cause privacy again at night.
I live in a apartment with a front patio. We are not allowed to put shades up for privacy. They are installing cable cameras and taken away our front porch privacy. What, if anything can we do to block the cameras during the day and night. Please help with this invasion of privacy. Installing mirror tint on windows so they can't see in but we need something creative to distract the cameras during the day and evening. Mirrored windmills? Wind chimes with some type of reflective material? Trying to think of anything to allow us well deserved privacy. We all have outlets and a front porch light for shining spotlight or a string of LED rope lights, but that's at night and not sure those will work. Don't want to damage cameras just want our privacy from prying eyes! HELP!
