On my GTS 300 (MY2019), it was easier to remove the fuse box to gain access to the USB connections and fit the PP11 harness as the necessary pug was clipped to the back of the fuse box mount !! Otherwise super easy mod and the PP11 harness makes it a very clean install. Thanks Robot & ScooterWest, keep up the great work !!
I managed to take it out of the harness on a 2019, cables are held in place by a triangular harness that you can try to work out of … by sliding out and putting little force you can see them via the side vent tucked in . Hope that helps
Nice option, Robot. Two points, though: (1) I've found the built-in USB port on my 2015 GTS300 does a pretty good job during my 30-40 mile jaunts for my phone (Samsung Galaxy S-10e now); (2) The limiting factor I've found in charging is the cable - the higher-quality the better. I found a flat cable that doesn't impede charging, but still allows the "glove-box" door to fully close and lock with little effort. (And, a quick plug for Quad Lock: have one, love it.)

I always worry about the cable getting tangled with that setup. My next mod to my scooter will be running power out of the headset right by the mirror and connecting the Ram Mount with Qi wireless charging.
I ordered the parts based on the vid and even had Scooterwest pre-drill the hole, BUt after removing that lower panel I'm not able to get the cover to close. The rear of the USB plug butts against something. Is this made for the GTS300 Supertech 2021?
When fitting the 12v adaptor remember to fit it low to the right otherwise the wires can push against the square modules that are located inside to the left of the knee pad area.
How do I find the scooter harness for a 2012 GTS 300 super it looks different behind that panel will I be able to use the adapter harness that y'all provide pp11 plug & play my model Vespa doesn't come with a USB harness behind the panel

It has to have some drain to show the display, I'm more curious if it has any in the switched off condition. Since this has no "remote" turn on capability like TV's and such electronics I would suspect it does not and "off is off". I just swapped my Euro cigarette style outlet for one of these on my recently acquired Buddy 125. It has a 1amp fuse for the OEM switched connection so I ran an always on line from the battery with the SAE style heavy wire with inline fuse support to the 3amp capability of this unit.
I have a GTS250ie. I installed the older kneepad USB kit that had a pigtail to connect to the alarm connector. I bought this same amazing faster USB outlet and put it in place of the older "Slow" USB and noticed that the wire in the alarm connector is a very small gauge. Will that small wire support the draw needed by the heavier wattage faster USB? Will I pop a fuse or toast wiring with the faster USB?
I have Vespa Elegante VXL 150 it seems to get a bell ringing or metal noise from the Clutch area, this was bought a few days back as a brand new bike. Highly appreciate your thoughts on this :)
