I’m with you on the thickness. Might get away with it if we consider it a Sport watch instead of a dress watch. Love the dial, and handset seems to pair well.
I can't deal with that logo on dress or sports syle watch. I've emailed them what feels like a 100 times for them to just put their name on the dial of these types of watches, but I just get the same old generic email in return. It's a shame because they do make some of the better watches in their price bracket. That aside, it looks great on you, Simon! 🤣🤣🤣
I bought one of these and I am in shock at how totally and utterly BEAUTIFUL this watch is. How the hell can they make a watch this beautiful for under $100?? As others have said, it IS a bit thick....but I DONT CARE AT ALL!!! IT'S STUNNING. I bought this one to have a 'different'(than my usual) kind of watch and it is a real home run. Keeps very good time and I keep putting it on when I go out....and I have several $$$$ watches that dont look as good.
It is a stunner mate and for the money, it’s definitely hard to beat. The thickness is the only negative (along with the logo perhaps) to what is a great watch, enjoy man 👍👍
This definitely looks to be a stunner in general, let alone for under $100. Sadly it's just too thick for what I'd want to wear it for. Hopefully they make more textured dials like this and bring the thickness down.
I dont even notice how thick it is anymore.....it doesnt bother me nearly as much as I thought it would. I get compliments on it and my neighbor even saw it and wanted one and I gave him the info and he ordered it and got it, already. I had to size the bracelet for him, but he's happy as a clam with it..... How happy ARE clams, anyway??? 0_o@@craiggreeson2614
Great video as usual, mate. I've had my eyes on this one for a while now, and I even think it might be in my cart waiting for some AE sale, not sure lol. Addiesdive/Steeldive (I've always assumed they're like the same brand with just different names?) always deliever in terms of value and quality for the money. That dial is truly spectacular and is of course the star of this show lol. I assume this is a kinda original design, or is it a homage in some way?
I think they may well be closely aligned but I don’t really know how tbh. It’s a stunning watch and may or may not be a homage of a Grand Seiko but I couldn’t possibly say 😉
Another beautiful offering from Addiesdive. I would be tempted to buy if they offered a quartz version as I already own a hopelessly, inconsistently inaccurate AD2112 auto watch.
An absolutely lovely watch, and I really do think the bracelet suits the dial perfectly. The one thing that makes me hesitate is the thickness seen as I have a bit of a small wrist 😬. But again brilliant video as always, the synopsis at the end is always so damn useful incase I've missed anything
I hear you mate as it’s definitely a mill or 2 thicker than it needs to be but otherwise, a very, very good watch for the price. Thanks for your kind words my man 👍👍
Definitely another homage brand to watch out for. But for such a design, probably the Seiko 5 SNKL23K1 which is under a 100 at times of sale would bring greater value for money for me personally. Thanks for the great review as always!
I don't like their logo on this style of watch (but apparently, I'm not the only one 😅). Except that, it's a great watch. It's impressive what you can get with only 100$. Great review, Simon. Take care of yourself.
This is probably my next buy...only thing is the blue version is currently £45 and the white (which I want) is £99! Not fair, lol. I hav a thing about white dials atm.
There is a dive watch with that dial my friend! AD2117, with 200m water resistance, available in this dial with stainless steel case, and black dial with bronze case. Captain Willard style.
Simon, I'm thinking of getting an Addiesdive, and this one (along with your latest video of the 2038) are my top contenders. Do you think that the thinness in this one is too much, or is it wearable as a sports GADA watch (forgetting that ut has no lume)?😊
It is quite thick and as a GADA watch would be ok in most situations, apart from in dressy situations as it won’t slide under a shirt cuff all that easily. Both are great options though and have their pros for sure 👍👍
I have a Pagani Doxa homage and it just has There small P logo on dial. That should be the future too much text or in this case saying a dive watch when is not is wrong!
No Gloves Brother. Wish the Watch was thinner. But I was looking at a Seiko that looks Similar to this, But its out of Stock and The Prices went to the Moon. So I guess Addisdive will get my Money^^
@darioscomicschule1111 like you, I really like lume but given the type of watch it is, it really doesn’t need it and the high polished hands offer a better aesthetic 👍👍
I own this watch and be a little dissapointed: The dial looks rather cheap like a Swarowski Fashionwatch. More glittery silver than white snow/paper...don't like the texture either, because its too small.
I’m surprised to hear that mate as for the money, I think you’ll really struggle to find anything with such a stunning dial. Thanks for your honest feedback though 👍👍
I didn’t mate and I doubt anyone else did, especially on such an affordable watch but given it has good construction, I’d say it’s ok for swimming but no more 👍👍
@@WatchtheTime yeah I wouldn’t expect anyone to actually go diving with it 😂. It would be cool to see if it’s just a number that they slapped on the dial though. Thanks!
