3 months in - I've stopped wearing my other watches, yikes! This is the ultimate every day beater. Also, it hasn't lost a single second in 2 months. The Miyota movement is great! I've only found one downside to the watch - the crystal is NOT sapphire, just mineral glass. I banged it against my granite kitchen counter and chipped the tiniest bit off the edge of the glass. Invisible to anyone else but I know it's there. If Addiesdive made this with sapphire crystal it would be deffo worth the price increase.
Speaking from my unit delivered 3 weeks ago. Crystal mineral for sure, not sapphire. But ceramic bezel indeed (120 clicks, tight, no backplay) and good screw crown. BTW the seconds hand of mine is perfectly aligned with indexes. And you could mention (and show) the GREAT lume for the price. A solid beater for me. At this price range... almost unbelievable. Cheers mate!
Ooh I envy your aligned seconds hand :D I considered removing mine and pushing back on to see if I can improve it, but it honestly doesn't bother me enough. Even the lack of sweep seconds isn't bothering me. This is ruining my appreciation of my other watches, because I've worn it for 3 weeks solid and I'm seriously considering selling the others. This is making everything else look ridiculously expensive - including the cheaper Seikos. If SII came out with a sweep seconds movement with date (VH31 mk2) and Addiesdive fitted it to this with sapphire, it would be game over.
@@zootius Agreed! I truly don't know how much addiesdive is charging for its automatic sapphire version nowadays. I bet it may be way under U$100.00 though. Gonna check later today.
@@brunops1 the quartz and automatic version both have mineral crystal...not sapphire...only the Steeldive have sapphire crystal...but Steeldive is generally more expensive....
@@SalvatoreDiazManrique This is a Quartz Addiesdive (Miyota 2115 quartz module keeps good time). Turns out it's mineral crystal, not sapphire crystal. But yes it has a lumed ceramic bezel insert.
