U could also do pushups to failure a couple times a day for how ever long u want to do it i did it and now i can do at least 50 Pushups without breaking a sweat
How the last time I could do 50 push up in a row was in 8th through 9th grade. I really let myself go only being able to do 20 but currently I can manage to get 35 push ups without stopping. I need to get back up to 50 haha😅
I am at 60 and its getting seriously tougher everyday. Update - I went to a max pushups of 113 a day split into a morning and an evening session. I have been mixing tougher variations of pushups. 1) Archer pushups 2)Weighted pushups 3)Finger pushups 4)Scapular pushups. My next 🎯 is to nail the planche Wish me luck 🤞
btw, progressive overload is variative. doing 100 push ups everyday but you gettin it easier by doing it in less time or less sets is also progression. however, im not saying you're wrong, it is just the fitness community has proven it that adding more reps is more efficient than what i have exposed.
This video has been my channels inspiration and in the last 4 days I have done 270 push-ups on camera and 250 off camera for a total of 520 push-ups all because I came across this video a few days ago. Push-ups are like ultimate upper body exercise. You can gain a lot and if you feel its to easy there are many ways to make em harder and you dont need any equipment

yea fr i do atleast 150 push ups a day i just got on consistently abt 3 weeks ago buh 2 years ago i was doing 100 and adding 50 a day and capped at 300 for the school year and summer
Im gonna do pushups to failure everyday. Day 1- 15 Day 2-10 Day 3-15 Day 4-16 Day 5-15 Day 6-17 Day 7-15 (first time going to "true failure") Day 8-20 Day 9-10( Decided to only do 10. Wrist and elbows hurt bad) Day 10-5

I have been incorporating pushups again almost everyday some days if I’m sore I have a days rest but I’ll still work another body part with some weight or the park machines,I used to be able to do atleast do about 55-65 straight in row when I was around 75kg now I’m like 98-100kg and started a few months ago because I dislocated my shoulder at work and got test done got ligament and tendon damage there in rotator cuff, but since doing internal/external resistance band exercises have helped the strength dramatically and also the pushups have helped ALOT, started off doing around 10 and that was hard obviously I’m a lot haveier now than I was at 75kg but anyway I have put on some muscle and the strength is way better I do now between 15-20 then I’ll have a rest then keep doing 15-20 until I atleast get to 100 but I usually do 150, I feel a lot better and stronger and my injury is a lot better 👍
I’m doing my own kinda challenge. I started 4 days ago (June 23rd) and the thing is I started by doing 10 a day for two days, then 15, then 20 etc… I’m on day 4, 15 push-ups
Consider buying push-up handles and using a fuller range of motion. And slow down the push ups when you get past 20. Cranking out 100+ pushups isn’t a great strategy.
I started to do 30 push-ups 6/7 days. When i forgot to do them, I added 10 more. Now I do 100 push-ups (70 basic ones + 30 diamond ones) If you have any suggestions for differents forms of push-ups, I'd like to hear them
Stop putting your arms stretched out keep your arms straight and one position that’s how you won’t hurt your shoulders. You won’t hurt your shoulders or nothing. It feels great. You’ll be able to do push-ups greater and better instead of just doing that you won’t be able to do push-ups because your shoulders are gonna keep hurting your shoulders won’t hurt anymore. I promise you that stop stop stop, you keep doing that you hurt yourself hurt your shoulders. You won’t be able to do more push-ups. Keep your arms straight and positive positive positive positive positive.
I did that for about 3 months and the change was crazy. Then I got really sick for 2 weeks and didn’t have it in me to do it again. But, imma new man now I’m starting it again today.
Did any of you guys change y’all’s diets because I’ve ben wanting to do this but I stoped every time after like 2 weeks because I wasn’t seeing results I was trying to do 100 a day
@@itsgoofy3189i did 100 push ups a day for almost 2 weeks now, dont see any particular change, but gonna stick to it and see what happens(although i do feel a lot stronger throughout the weeks)
Right way to get rounded shoulders and unbalanced muscles... Do this more then year and you will fuck up your body... You need do opposite exercises as pull ups or Trx same amount!!!
This is a good idea for 3 to 6 months. Do the math. A year of this you will be doing 183 push ups per day on average. So for the second 6 months you are doing more than 183 push ups every day. Thats silly and a recipe for injury. Makes you wonder why theres no part 2. After you can comfortably do 100+ pushups in one day, just switch over to bench press or add weight to your push ups. Doing any work out with massive amounts of reps is just wearing in your joints, your time, and not building you much muscle or strength.
People - doing the same exercise every day is NOT A GOOD IDEA. Do them every other day at most. You are not allowing your muscles and joints to recover properly and you’re actually putting more wear and tear on them. You will also get MORE GAINS if you do it every other day. Work out smarter.
