Awesome kart man. little or no money builds, that's the way i roll as well. i see some guys spend crazy money on this stuff and i just go to the junk yard and hunt for treasure.

+FullThrottle440 Yup I just collect stuff that looks usefull and then its there when I decide to build something. If I dont have most of the parts I dont build it or change the original idea to work with what I have. Im building a body for this kart right now but its kindof a joke so I dont know if im going to show it. I might not even finish it we'll see

It really seems to get it pretty good!

+The Shade Tree Fix-it Man It actually doesnt feel much different than it did before except on takeoff and slow speed you can tell its alot easier on the belt and itll spin the tires no problem now

ha. i ant wait to try this 48 tooth sprocket i just got with a 4.8:1 ratio with 15inch tires. Just to try it. How long did the belt last?

+Pred 212 if youre on flat ground and doing it just for top speed itll probrobly be fine just dont climb any hills with it.

Maybe I missed it in the video, but mind if I ask the tooth count of the two larger sprockets? I like the torque and how well it climbs.

its 10-32 , 9-40 so that comes out to 14:1 with 21" tires. It could be less and work just as well like 12:1 no problem

Thanks, @@jeep2003. I am thinking of going 10-36 for both, which should give me just under 13:1. Looking forward to building it out. Thanks again!

What cc did this engine put out, out of interest?

i think they are like 305cc. I changed it to a 13hp honda now which is like 390cc and using a regular centriugal clutch. It goes like hell. Way better than the torque converter setup.

@@jeep2003 that’s good to know… I’ve got a 5.5hp Honda, 197cc… just wondering what it’ll go like with straight 10tooth centrifugal to 62tooth drive. That’s good info thanks buddy 👍🏼

@@n1tr089 I did put a 5.5 honda on it before the 13hp. It worked ok too but pretty slow. It just depends on your terrain and how big your tires are what gear ratio it should be. Dont expect to get it right the first time
