i agree, i think he can cry in his g wagon about it, or the supra, or the c8 when he gets it back, or the lambo. Lolol but nah forreal its gonna be surreal in the moment when it does happen
ahhh i see what you did here ... since miley is the OG u wanna name the other one hannah ... as in miley cyrus and hannah montanna 😂 idk i could be wrong ?
I'm only like 3 years younger than tj have no idea what the references are they make. Half of them seem like some autistic make a wish with tourette's noises.
When you said 7 years ago I immediately thought "holy shit, I've been watching for about 6 years then" Also this build answers the question of what would TJ do different if he could start over with his brz
I know I can't be the only one but I appreciate the added explanations of the work being done and the car parts. I've been interested in cars for years but more aesthetically, I want to get more into the performance end of things! So I am learning! I had a red FRS and seeing this build is what I wanted to do with that car.
Having watched a bunch of RU-vidr giveaways, and living in California, mad props for a build that can actually be driven in all 50 states without having to be super shady about it or deal with getting it smogged. 👌😎
I remember the Jim memes, because I ordered a battle aero wing and I wanted to see the install. 1) don’t stop the scheee. I love it. 2) the dynamic between you and Calvin has developed over the years 3) the time you let “kelvin” “Kevin”?? Film y’all doing the wing install had the ✨S P I C Y I S T✨ opening shot when y’all were posing in front of the camera.
After years of not being able to get myself some mercy, I was finally able to in time for this giveaway. So stoked to get my things and see how this build turns out.
That's a interesting turbo placement . I can see how a vent in that area can help but with the carbon fiber hood will you need to worry about the amount of heat in that area?
Let’s take a second to thank TJ for putting a lot of effort towards his content! Every video gets better and better, especially since he’s adding the lil skits. Love the vids Teej 👌🏽 SHEEEEEESH
I was able to get a Huracan Performante recently. I'm super thankful to own one of the greatest V10's ever made. Because as you've said, they'll be gone soon and nothing can really replicate the sound and feel. It'll take a while to adjust to everything being fully electric. Maybe enthusiasts now will never adjust to it. Big loud gas-guzzling engines will always be around, but they'll probably become a niche thing, much like Horses are now. People still have them, but they're not really used anymore like they used to be.
I completely agree about the electric/gas thing. The electric motors are objectively better on paper but they have no noise which for me is about 70% of the experience. Thats why you run a turbo with a short ram intake for the amazing sound that makes you want to drive more, even though the stock airbox with a high flow panel is better on a dyno most likely. With electric thats all gone except for insane torque on tap instantly when you want it
Porsche is trying to develop a type of gas that is good for the enviorment but still got the noice that we all love. So happy that some car brands is still trying to keep the cars like we all love them
Man that's a sick turbo setup ima do the same thing as in my 240sx when I get it put the turbo on the side btw that was really funny at the end poor tommy misses his mark 4 supra 😂😂 and let one of his employees got eaten by gators
Yep dat scene to the end was killer.....i always enjoy watching your vids u always promote progress and positivity and your vids always have dat love and friendship vybz to it ...u are an awesome content creator
I don't think electric will ever replace combustion, it's just not the same. I think Porsche's bio-fuel will be what should take over. Bio-fuel can run on existing platforms as well as gas stations. Not to mention it has less of a carbon footprint than Tesla batteries and the like. R/C cars a fun, but nothing beats a good rev of the engine. Love the vids TJ.
I am a HUGE lover of the sound of a combustion engine, but on the other hand it is pretty amazing the feeling that instant torque from an electric motor gives you.....
TJ Hunt Great Video I'm glad you almost Completely Installed Miley 2.0s Turbo and I can't wait to hear the First Start and I think you should definitely do more Grandpa Scenes
Teej and others, this should cheer you up. There have been many advances recently making ICE-powered cars much more sustainable and eco-friendly than EVs. *The data shows that ICE cars with alternative fuels are actually more 75% cleaner than electric cars. -The process of mining materials for, and producing the batteries releases more carbon than the average ICE car with cats does in 200,000 miles. Plus, most EVs need their batteries replaced every 3-10 years. Safe disposal of the toxic materials in the batteries will also prove difficult. -Not all EVs use clean power either, the power to charge an electric car comes from. It could come from a coal-burning plant or a clean solar farm. -Porsche is working on a clean-burning synthetic fuel that will work in any ICE vehicle, and many other companies are working on hydrogen and bio-ethanol combustion engines. Iceland currently uses hydrogen ICE and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles nationwide instead of EVs. -There are already millions of ICE-powered vehicles on the road. Outright banning their use would leave the world with an unimaginable junk car problem. I can't see ICE-powred cars going anywhere soon.
About the electric car topic, Porsche are developing an e-fuel that is essentially zero emission due to carbon being taken in to make and the carbon produced balances out. Hopefully the ICE lives on, and this idea spreads outside of porsche for performance cars 👍
It’s an interesting topic about the electric car movement. I think we’ll see sports cars that can go full electric for a decent range (250 miles maybe) and then they’ll have a ICE motor on “reserve” for max performance. I feel like the manufacturers are going to find a loophole to give us an ICE engine, but of course we’ll always be in “max performance” mode
Love the content you guys put out.....i don't miss a video you'll put out ...just a shame I'm from the Caribbean would of love to meet you guys ...even patronize in merch
When we were kids we all thought everyone would have a flying car and we have made it as far to only have electric, something that’s always been around, things will progress but we won’t “loose” gas/diesel cars and trucks
Dw Tj, the future of performance cars will be big displacement V8's that are severely underpowered just look at Ford 7.3L Godzilla engine combined with the use of Synthetic fuels.
