can we use the clicker speaker contact (clicker speaker to be removed) as a BT power switch - when we off the clicker speaker, BT is "off" and if the clicker is on - BT is "on"?

hey, I’m thinking of buying a bluetooth module kit from you, and was wondering if you could answer a few questions: 1. is the bluetooth sound a good quality? Like i know it will never be good as wired, but does it sound as good as it does paired to an iphone, for example? 2. the kit on your site removes hold switch functionality. how sensitive are the ipods clickwheel buttons? if i remove this functionality will the ipods buttons skip songs or change volume or whatever if i for example go for a walk with it in my pocket for example thanks

Instead of adding the power switch. Why don’t you have on when the device is on or Bluetooth light is red and the power is on? Surely there’s some pin somewhere that changes voltage if music is playing === true???

There is no point to take voltage that give on or off when iPod is on or off… the voltage is always present… you need a slide switch or a latch flipflop…

Some people claim they have been able to do it with rockbox but i have never had any luck. If you want more than 128GB i would just get a 5th gen or a 7th gen

Apple AirPods are Bluetooth devices and will connect with any device that is Bluetooth compatible, so to answer your question. Yes, you can use AirPods with the iPod if you plan on modding one of these nuggets.

Its so easy… dissasembly the airtag and sold wires from small battery to ipods battery…

Mate... You are a genius!! I love ipods and still use them a fair bit (especially in my cars). I would never attempt a lot of your mods myself - my soldering skills just aren't that good. But great to see guys like you making a great device even better - and still prepared to reveal his trade secrets. Thanks for uploading your videos and keep em coming!!
