My BMW E46 touring had rear window wash fluid tank in the rear under the hatch, love it since it stores much more wash fluid for long trips. That box under passenger seat looks like some kind of aftermarket audio system amp

18:52 Yes, some pre facelift Volkswagen Golf 2 have seperate reservoir for the back washer in the trunk and mostly came on models with sunroof for some reason.

@28:34 esp TT ac lines, TT and NA lines are different, but you can use TT lines on TT and NA, just not vice versa without bending the ac lins a bit. the TT lines tuck awya clean and hidden as well. TT lines for the win!

Had a chance to pick up a z32 from a salvage yard a few days back then someone bought it and now sadly its being parted out :( but I still have my 85 z31 and figured out my spark issue so im happy. If anyone has a z32 shell in cali hit me up lol

If I may make a suggestion for an engine; the VW 07k. It’s a 2.5L 5 cylinder that people use for Quattro restomods, and they are cheap and can make a bunch of power on the cheap

id say maybe an n/a rb25 like the n/a ka 300zx, but kinda would suck to not have the turbo as well.

I vote for a nice 4.0 from a pathfinder. Like having a factory stroker motor.

Also cars on/ in Victoria BC the island dont rust either or at least very very little since they don’t use salt on the roads for winter.

As a Florida guy, i'll take rusting top down over bottom up any day. Much easier to maintain as the roof's always in your face so you can see when it's starting a lot easier and I can imagine washing off the roof is much easier than the undercarriage haha

Those flor mats can look actually pretty good. Spray it heavy with a power wash, than a cleaner, adgitate and spray off with a power washer. Wacum the leftover, and those will be mint

I don't know why they needed satellite uplink in that car but some of that stuff was very expensive when it came out. Might still be worth more than the car cost you. maybe VQ40DE that sucker since you need everything anyway and Xterra are a little easier to find in the junkyard.

Me as a floridian myself there's a lot of gem cars down here, Ive seen a 300zx with the spoiler that it comes with sitting in front of a shop, been seeing it for like a year there without anything being done to it, theres a 3000gt near my house and a mk4 supra along with 2 300zx

I am from Tennessee, we do have pretty nice project cars that sit here forever and dont end up having rust, but they do have a nice coating of moss that will save the paint for twenty years lol, just purchased a new MK3 supra project. You refill the wiper fluid on a BMW E31 in the rear, but it actually has two reservoirs . When the front one is empty it pumps the fluid from the rear to the front.

Just LS swap it! Stag 1: All junkyard parts. Truck motor, ar5 transmission, fabbot adapter Stock 300hp nothing crazy. I’d watch that !

When i got my most recent miata, it too had a bunch of sketchy audio stuff. Spaghetti under the carpet. The total weight after it was removed was 44lbs!!!

Sweet, looks good in white. I remember those stereo amps back in the day, i had 3 in my first car. They had those air cooling grill things on the entire top and you could put mulitple in a line on a carpeted board and it would look like one giant amp. Run them all off one power distribution block. They were ball'n back in there day. If i remember right they were rockford fosgate. Lol useless rambling here but seeing that under the seat took me back to my first amps in my first car.

The commitment is real!!! That was a really good purchase! My car had some spiders and ants when it got parked for a few weeks, I had to leave some pesticide in the framerails and the trunk for over 2 weeks to get rid of them... The smell was awful in the first week, gave me headaches while driving with the windows closed, but eventually it worked lol

E46 wagons have a res under the hood and also a res in the trunk, similar to the 300zx 2+0 setup

The first gen Ford Probe GT Turbo has the wiper reservoir in the trunk aswell. Unfortunately I bought mine from someone who we (me and my parents) named the Silicone King, as instead of using the old screws to secure the interior trim, he used bathtile silicone to hold it in place. That, and he cut the wiper reservoir tube to fit a big ass subwoofer in the back, and also left it in the sun for about 5 years with a bubblegum freshener inside with the windows closed. You can imagine the putrid smell my nose had to endure when getting in the first time, although it might not have been as bad as the ZX lol.

As a Tennesseean I can confirm are cars are mint 👌🏻.

@25:45, there are 2 sides to a fuse socket, the hot side and the load side, if your wire was pinched under the load side of the fuse, then that extra wire would indeed be fuse protected. but if the wire was pinched under the hot side, you are correct, that fuse wasnt fusing lol. just a side note, though ghetto as shit, thta method can work and can still be fuse protected if wire is pinched under the load side of the fuse sockets.

that hughes box under the passenger seat is probably for a carphone also if you want to put a 6 cyl back in it maybe look at the toyota mz series, you could get them in rwd and they're a narrow angle v6 so less of a pain to maintain, and still short enough to fit in the z's bay

2nd gen Isuzu Trooper has the rear washer bottle in the back door. Not sure of any other vehicles.

I think if want to keep the Nissan theme maybe a VK56DE or the VK56VD it can be done, with a CD009 or a FS6R31A. Make a complicated drift missile, lol. Maybe an ozone generator might be good investment not really expensive

DSMs have their rear windshield washer reservoirs in the rear almost same spot as that Z. Front windshield washer fluid is in the front.

The washer fluid reservoir in a 99 eclipse is also in the trunk. I’ve never realized the 300 had it there too. Also, it might be cool to put a 4g63t or similar engine in, I think it would be pretty dope.

So 3000gt vr4 1st gen is just as advanced and quirky and pain to work on as the 300zx they’re practically rivals. 3kgt vr4 has active aero spoiler and I believe front lip. It has sport and touring I think for the exhaust to make it quieter the flip up headlights are pretty advanced in their own way. Twin turbo awd. Pretty sure there’s more but I forgot.

This might be the best deal so far on the channel, a double white z with some new furry friends!

MK2 Supras also have the washer reservoir in the trunk. Except it’s not a hard plastic tank like most cars, it’s a plastic bag lol

A while back I sent you a bunch of pictures on instagram of a clean 300zx (older model with popups) in the pullapart in charlotte nc. It was actually super clean had all red interior and was pretty much complete. I've always wondered why they scrapped it.

Mazda MX3’s have 2 reservoirs. One in the bay, one in the hatch underneath everything. It’s hidden under my subwoofer lol

Those t top shades are for a 4 seater since the back of em have a 4 as the first number and not a 2. There would be a 4R and a 4L for your car

As a TN car guy. Rust is usually not an issue. And oddly enough, it’s always the sheet metal that goes first. Bolts and frame rails are usually mint. Maybe some floor board rust and cab corners. What that means is, every car becomes a roller after they blow up motor or trans. So yeah you’ll get a cheap car with a solid frame. But it will be absolutely ragged. All the bushings and wiring will be ruined and chopped up.

This is so good! If I could find anything remotely this clean for that price in South Africa it would be amazing! And clean in the sense of rust/accident damage... not the rat/ant nests that was found in this Z RB25 or why not VQ35 even? Then I guess the VQ will need to be turboed...

My opel Manta and my Mazda MX-3 have a washer bottle in the trunk, but its only for the rear window though, the front has a seperate resevoir under the hood
