This project got stalled a bit, but will be on track again in early 2021 -- as soon as i finish up the deck-topped super insulated addition I have been working on. I am almost done putting on horizontally installed pole barn siding which gives the building an industrial look. here are some links to that stuff: Addition Playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-seFLn5gaBhY.html Flat EPDM Roof Playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dryOGYyZSSo.html Siding Playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PWTKMSR9cmI.html Window to Door Playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vMquUXXy6h8.html If you enjoyed the video, you can buy me a beer here: www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=U5BDZFCHV9WLQ&source=url
Thanks Joe! That tractor was in a temporary shelter that went down in a storm last week. I'll pull it out in the Spring and get back to work on it. I'll have to look into the swinging draw bar. The draw bar that's on there is really toast!
Yes, I believe that Is correct. I'm not in the shed at the moment but that makes sense. The fluid is shared by all of the components, and there is a drain for each because they are at different levels. The fill is on top so only one is needed.
I’m thinking about buying a 430 loader tractor. Loader hydraulics work buy PTO and 3 point doesn’t work. Owner says filter is plugged. Any ideas why PTO would not work? Linkage for PTO I partially missing
Im just on with draining mine and have the same problem with the lifting gear stuck at the top and wont come down. I took the dipstick plate off and it all seems to work on the inside when i try the lever up and down but the harms dont move. maybe it will all work when the new oil is added. Im in England so we both suffer from the same thing. It never stops raining . NEVER !!
This video was a while ago, but the hitch arms lifted fine when it was refilled. One thing you have to remember is that (I believe) you have to disengage the PTO once the arms are in position. It's been a couple of years since I got it running and drove it - it's now waiting on a brake job 😐 I'll be working on the tractor again as soon as I can, but here is the playlist of all of the things done so-far: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gdC1VKxBkWw.html Good luck, and stay dry 😉
Draining the old fluid gets rid of the majority of the nasty stuff. To get things 100% clean I believe things would have to be disassembled and cleaned.
I look for the light install video I could not find it but my lord you can do a little bit of everything what kind of welder do you think I should buy for a beginner and were did you buy lights for Ferguson trator my did not have them on the front they were gone
Sorry, I haven't installed the lights yet. I just showed them and the other stuff that will be installed in the 'kit' for the Ferguson. As for the welder -- I don't know. I'm just learning to weld. My wife found the nearly new welder at a barn sale down the road. This one is a Hobart stick welder, and I'll be trying my first weld next week.
I'm a beginner welder, so I'm not the person to ask about welding. We found a Hobart stick welding machine at a rummage sale that was nearly new, and a good price so that's what I am starting with. The Ferguson lights came from Steiner Tractor. Most old tractors -- especially 6-volt ones -- did not come with lights from the factory, but they were available as an option.
That one looks it was made war time there no push start button on trans cover and it don’t have right engine in it never had dist cap on right motor until later looks like 3 speed transmission
These models never had a push button starter and production started long after the war. The starter works using the shift lever so that it cannot be started in gear. It is a 1951 TO-20, and has a Z120 Continental motor which is correct. Maybe you are thinking of the TE-20?
@@PlanetMojo what are the 2 cotter pin looking things under the tractor and what do they do? My ferguson has them too.and there is a dipstick to check the fluid in all 3 on the right side towards the back at least on the fergie
Guy your wrong I work at Ford tractor dealer 20 year it was 53 hydraulic oilFord tractor then change it to 134 d hydraulic oil it’s like 10w30 weight 90 weight or 80 is to thick slow hydraulic down .
