How to add Mobile Device Manager to Apple Business manager or Apple School Manager (Same steps for both) and how to exchange DEP and (Apps and Books) VPP tokens.
Talked about Apple Push Notification certificate (APNS).
Add mobile device management (MDM) servers
In Apple Business Manager , sign in with an account that has the role of Administrator or Device Enrollment Manager.
Tap Settings at the bottom of the sidebar, then tap Device Management Settings below Organization Settings.
Tap , then enter a unique name for the server.
If you don’t want this MDM server to have the ability to release devices, see Release devices.
Upload the public key certificate file, then tap Save.
Tap then tap Download Server Token.
You must now upload the server token to a specific MDM solution. Consult your MDM vendor’s documentation to complete this step.
Repeat steps 1 through 5 for any other MDM servers you want to add.

Hi Magnet, Thank you so much for this awesome information. Could you please make video on how to link two MDM servers in Apple Business Manager. Please confirm if ABM can support two different MDM servers (Intune and Blackberry UEM)... Awaiting response

Sure you can link multiple MDMs to Apple Business Manager (ABM) . It's the same way you add the 1st one as I listed in this video (when you click on Device Management). So each MDM will have its own token to download and upload to that specific MDM. For Apps and Books, if you want to assign them to both mdms then you will need to create different location, then you upload the Apps and Books token for that location to be linked to that specific MDM. so when you purchase apps you specify which location be liked to. Hope that answer your question. :)

Is the mdm device enrollment written into the device firmware or is it stored in the hard drive software? Thank you

The Mdm profile saved to the device but the only way to remove the profile by restoring the device to factory setting using a Mac or pc . Or run the wipe command using your MDM. FYI ( resetting all content and setting will not remove the profile ) . Hope that answer your question 😊

@@magnet6332 Does the administrator have remote access to the device files and folders? Can they see internet bookmarks and history? For example if my school issues a macbook under the Device Enrollment Program does the administrator have the ability to spy on my use? Thank you.

@@hippo-potamus They could but not through MDM. Remote management only for restriction and locate devices . If they need to remote to your system then they have to use remote desktop software or other network tools and software to track what websites you go to and more. If I were you I'll be careful ;) .
