Did you convert an Epson Ecotank printer to use sublimation ink but now it's time to add more ink to it? If so, I hope this video helps. Printer Used amzn.to/45v3JuN Hiipoo Sublimation Ink Used amzn.to/41DvG2t
Hi, Marilyn. I meant to send this comment earlier when I posted this video, but I fell asleep as soon as I got home. I was driving back from home from spending some time with twin sisters who are both my fellow breast cancer survivors. When went to Tanger Outlets in Pooler, Georgia and did some shopping and had lunch before heading back home. We try to spend time together periodically although we live in different cities…. Not too far apart. I refilled all of my EcoTank ink tanks at 4:00 A.M. yesterday. I had left a print job printing, and when I went into my home office to check on the printer, it had stopped after printing only 10 sets of the transfers, which I printed on the A-Sub 8.5” x 14” legal size sublimation paper. There was a message on the printer screen saying to refill the black ink. I refilled all of the tanks since they all had just about the same amount of inks in them. It’s a smart printer to give the opportunity to refill them all. Then I was able to complete the print job. So I have woken up just after midnight and added this comment. Thanks for doing this process for those who may not know yet have had to refill their EcoTank inks yet. You clearly explained the process, and they should be able to do it with no problem at all. Going to watch your next video now, which is SETTING UP AND USING A PROCOLORED DTF PRINTER. Have a blessed day in the Lord. 🌹🌹🌹
What a coincidence that you just refilled yours:) It's such a wonderful blessing that you and your sisters are all survivors and are able to get together like you do! What a powerful testimony!!!
The last hiipoo sublimation ink would not transfer on anything! I'm now having to figure out how to drain the tanks so I can replace it with another brand. Won't buy hiipoo again. When I printed the first design I knew something was wrong. The printout was absolutely brilliant in color.
Hiipoo does sell regular (non-sublimation) ink. It kinda sounds like that may be what you received since it won't transfer and it was brilliant in color on the printout. That doesn't sound like sublimation ink. Having to drain the tanks will definitely take some time. I'm so sorry you had to go through such a bad experience.
Here is a link to the ink set that has the EcoTank ready tips. After using the bottles, you can keep them and buy the regular bottles next time and pour that ink into these bottles. The ink in the regular bottles is less expensive. amzn.to/41DvG2t
Mine is just set on the defaults. On another printer, I downloaded drivers that supposedly allowed you to do more, but I could never get it to look was good as just the default settings on it when I first used it. But I do use presentation matte paper setting and high quality printing.
