Truck Source Diesel - Super Panty Dropper Tune Drive & Review Not bad for a 12 year old lifted truck. www.trucksourcediesel.com/ Check out whats all done to my truck here. • Lifted 6.0 POWERSTROKE...
New sub here. But I've been watching your vids for about a week now. You've pretty much turned me completely to a 6.0. Great vids man!! Keep me coming.
I've had my X4 and always change through my custom tunes and I've never put mine back to stock inbetween changing them. Stock file is still there no problems
I have the Sct livewire ts+ and I'm running the street tune on my 6.0 and has about 32psi and I feel like is a little quicker then yours. Haven't ran the performance tune yet since just got it bulletproofed about 1,500 miles ago. But figure it should push atleast 38psi and be pretty quick. I did have it on performance but my mechanic said turn it down for now since all the new parts.
Great Videos man, really useful information! I have a 2004 6.0, that's not studed. I really would like to do some performance mods to it but I want to stud it first. I was curious what studs you run in your truck? I would definitely like to go with ARP, but for what I'm looking for I can't justify the 625's price. Only want to do tuner maybe bigger injectors and maybe a bigger turbo down the road. I'm really interested in the 425's, but don't know if they'll hold up. This is an everyday driver so not a race truck. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,God Bless!!!
So some people go to race shops to get tunes done...u have it right at your finger tips...why would people go to a tune shop if they can do it like u do...what is the difference between the tunes? Thanks and love ur vids!!
I've got an identical truck except for the lower tan rocker color. 4.5 Skyjacker 4-link and 20x12 Black Predator 2's. What turbo are you running? I'm thinking about switching the ole Garrett out for a non-vgt kit from Smeding with an S366. Anywho, nice looking truck man.
just found your youtube. I am looking into making my own custom tunes and want to know if the SPD Is coded in PHP? I will be using Minotaur to write my tunes and want to know if I purchase the file if I can tweak it to better suited my needs. also, how much does the tune cost? thanks and cool video
your axle ratio and revs per mile are not stock anymore with bigger tires go online to calculate the new 1 its probable around 4.11 axle ratio 639 revs per mile
Looking to get this tune for my 6.0 haven't had the truck for long, was wondering how you find out all the info on the truck you need to send to them? Thanks
Justin McKay when I did ARP head studs I did EGR internal weld as well as bulletproof diesel oil cooler and water pump. I them through Arch oil 9100 in every oil change and a sinister diesel coolant filtration system. lots of cash, but worth it if you plan on keeping it.
I've been looking into getting a custom tune for my 6.0. So you order the tune and they send the file in your email? Then you just upload it on your tuner?
Just got my looney wild tune in. Right before I go to upload it, I get a cylinder 8 injector code, looks like its the injector wire harness that needs to replace at injector 8. Just my luck. Now I have to wait a little longer to test this bad ass tune out.
ficm tuner was the best thing ive ever done to my 6.0, gearhead slr and the 40hp php ficm tune is what i have for a daily driver. gets 16mpg in the city and made 451hp on the dyno. made the truck a lot more responsive. the only down side is lots of smoke.
im turning 16 in 4 months and im getting my dads bulletproofed 6.0, i have a lot of money saved up for mods what should i do to make it faster and more dailyable? It has the stock 5r110 trans.
Bailey Moore well first off you probably should never disclose the fact that daddy paid for your truck because that's going to get you roasted on every board, group, and forum because some of us actually had to work for and earn what we have.
Lol you are double flashing the truck for no reason. Once the tuner is uploaded, keep it uploaded and change from tune to tune. Someday your programmer with fail and SCT will fail to retrieve or reload your actual tune that was originally from that truck. Ask me how I know. Good informative information. Why don't you purchase the advantage software and stop playing around with others tunes and dynos. I did this and I save thousands by making my own tunes with a 2002 lightning. Forget paying others for every calibration. See what its capable of. You have inspired me to purchase a 2005 harley studded 6.0 thanks.
