We are in the home stretch with the Homestead project! Today we are adding shingle to the roof and cleaning up some little chores I've been putting off!

Awe, thank you so much! I was a scrapbooked for years and it was so frustrating to find out my 12x12 was actually 11.75 x 11.75! 😂

Thank you for the info about shingles. Here in Australia, most of our roofs are corrugated metal or tiled. Just wondering about a chimney Penny, or did they have a pipe through the wall to vent the stove.

Oh my goodness! 😂 I totally forgot about the stove pipe! Yes, there was most definitely a pipe. I will get on that now… 😆

From where you got the double side tape

The tape I used is called Sookwang double sided tape and you can purchase from Amazon. It is a specialty tape meant for Scrapbooking/cardmaking and it is quite expensive. I would recommend using 2 sided Carpet tape instead. It is much cheaper and does the same job. It can also be found on Amazon or at most home improvement stores. I hope that helps!!
