Adding storage to my gaming server 

very cool. I just put in an Intel Arc 380 for Plex & handling a few codecs while video editing and I'm starting to add more drives to start hoarding a bit more. I have like 7 x 4U Rosewill chassis (I went nuts) and I didn't do much with them but I've downsized to just 3 machines (3 x 4U Rosewill's). Two of the use dual CPU X99 boards. I haven't racked them though. I've just kinda stacked them.

Yeah, drives have even come down recently too .. 9:50 ... I just moved up to some 10tb from my 4tb and 6tb. So, yeah, seems like same thing is happening around mid-April of 2023.

Thanks for showing ... 21:10 ... Very interesting. I do hope to get more hardware (like you) and really have a cool setup. You have true Cloud-level computing, like Google at home.

How do you back up your server? My emby server runs Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC. I'm not running an kind of drive redundancy because back blaze won't allow that with their unlimited accounts. I back up my whole server for $6.00 a month. I give up a lot of performance, but I can back up all 20 drives in my chassis. (it only has two for now for a total of 20 terabytes)
