I have lit tinder with it, it can be a bit fiddly but is doable. As a redundancy it's fine. Obviously, in cold weather when you may have limited dexterity you will struggle. Thank you for watching, enjoy your day 👍
I have a solar watch on each of my vehicles rear view mirror. It charges & available in any case. I do add a safety pin to the bands of my watches. FYI the suunto compass fell off my watch & I lost it :(
@p2snetwork Hello again... I definitely respect your high level of knowledge.... And your improvisational skills . Personally, I carry my compass ( plus sak ranger , whirl pak bag , water purification tablets, whistle, edc light ,mini first aid kit , fishing kit , fresnel lens, wazoo fire card , mini bic wrapped in waxed jute and gorilla tape ...in my tasmanian tiger rfid edc wallet which lives in my trouser pocket ... I'm never leaving my house without my trousers ... 😂 I love my g shock watch , which lives alone on my wrist and has done for 25 years. Another great video. " the more you know the less you carry " I carry a lot.
@@davidjacobs828 Sorry for the late reply David, I've only just seen the notification. It's good practice to carry your layer 1 items on your person and a trouser pocket is better than a jacket pocket as you're unlikely to take your trousers off if you get too warm 🤣 You certainly sound prepared. Thank you for watching, and again, my apologies for the late reply. Enjoy your weekend 👍
