I’ve enjoyed and put in practice your tips. Love the idea of success by not to beat the others. Collaboration instead of Competition!

Great video. Although it does cost tesla money to improve their product. R&D is very expensive.

*Me talking to investors:* "Hey I have a great idea, and because I love people and want to add value to the world I would want to open my patents and allow anyone to copy them" *Investors:* (crickets)

Did it age well? They are getting a reputation for starting to lose market dominance, having a chronically online CEO and for having an overvalued share price that could likely burst. Also he said "CEO and founder" those are not the same people that created it, he came on board way later as he is not an engineer, he just had money, and had to file a lawsuit to call himself the co-founder even though he did not found it.

But.... that point is undermined by the fact that Tesla is not really open source. There are very serious legal implications to using tesla technology.

Big enterprises routinely use interns for key research and development that highly paid fulltime employees would not be able to do. Become rich like Elon, don't make Elon rich 🤑

Great video but nowhere have I seen where Elon Musk believes that: "marketing is deceitful to customers" as the speaker suggests. He does probably put more weight on adding value though.

@HOLY APOSTATE A is definitely not China. They do not respect patents or the laws that protect them. They do not freely share anything. A better comparison would be Android vs Apple

Good talk, but he proceeds from a false dichotomy: one can compete to be number one at adding value. The two are not mutually exclusive. Out-competing your competition at adding value is HOW you beat the competition. Correct concusion, but #notavalidargument

LMAO, what a perfect analogy. Using the Tesla car as an example... Tesla the inventor was wildly successful and he died penniless cause everyone took advantage of him by taking his patents...
