The M1 Garand is back! About damn time Rebellion redeemed themselves on that matter with that weapon being absent in SE5.

3:17 very likely a propaganda truck and probably another cut feature from se5 🧐 at festung guernsey for instance, you hear a tannoy but there are no speakers around (except the ones used for alarms) maybe there is a gamemechanic to it, so that nearby enemies get more agressive due to propaganda - question is: could there be another truck model we haven seen yet? maybe a radio truck (Lautsprecherwagen), so that the player could sabotage the radio and weaken the enemies with fake propaganda or something. if the hiding in trucks feature returns in resistance a mobile soundmask would come in handy to cover your shots while hiding in the back of a moving truck... anyway NICE FIND! 👍

A smoke grenade would be great, although I'm not sure that's what this is. The lines look like they indicate shockwaves rather than smoke. Have the MK3 and/or its successors the MK3A1 and MK3A2 appeared in a Sniper Elite game yet? Originally invented in 1918, the MK3 was designed to produce a greater overpressure, aka shockwave, than the ordinary fragmentation grenade when used in confined spaces. Obviously, in this video Rebellion isn't using this type of grenade in the setting it was designed for ( like a bunker, where the overpressure could stun or even kill) but maybe that's just because they wanted to tease a new grenade but not show off a new level or a new portion of a level yet.

I hope they should bring the crouch sprint just like in SE4. or add it as a perk when you got promoted.

Great review,glad to see the gerand again,wouldn't it be cool if rebellion, introduced a gatling or some type of mini gun,in the game,to take down hoards of enemies.

Worth buying for the M1 Garand alone. They should also allow the sniper jeager to use non-dlc allied weapons.

I’m hoping there will be difficulty options to the abundance of ammo and resources found in a level. Sniper elite five, it was just way too much, so you never really had scavenge, least of all use that scavenger perk. I want a more survival type experience where I really have to manage my ammo reserves, pick my shots, and really have a purpose in exploring and scavenging for resources, especially looting dead bodies et cetera.

Will be buying it because I like SE and it's one of the few new games that will run decently on my $500.00 Lonovo Radeon 5500U laptop.

I plan on buying it anyway but am I the only one finding it hard to warm to Harry Hawker?

I hope the maps have a lot more enemies in their levels. It really spoils the atmosphere of the game when they are sparsely populated.

I don’t care for Charlie being a lead in the game as a sop to DEI. The black troops are certainly valid. Rebellion disrespects and ignores the actual women who were there. Still think it is strange that they wont add rifles such as Lebel or MAS 36 since this is taking place in France. Would love to se a return of the FG42 from SE 4 too. S-mines and trip mines would be nice to have again too.

I enjoyed SE5 but found the movement clunky with lots of broken animations. Pretty disappointed to see all the same issues here. Looking much more forward to Atomfall. Maybe the new option for the grenade is an impact grenade? Explodes on contact?

I can't be the only one who really would like to see more or at least new melee takedown animations. We had the same for ages now... plus they are buggy... I preordered 5 bit I think I might grab this in a sale, as I really do not see enough differences to justify full price for me

I want more freedom for the HUD-Config and a real Authentic-Mode. SE5 is a fucking joke.

I hope there will be the same multiplayer modes as in SE5 now!!! Love the Team Match.

I want to mark the enemy myself with the push of a button. Don't know if that was an option in SE5. I didn't like it automatically doin it by scoping or binoculars use.

Steam would not let me purchase 5 until very recently. In fact I just ended the opening Mission 1 and I have 10 of the DLCs downloaded. So it is all new for me: and with the Garand where it always should have been! Maybe other weapons might be added too. The game won’t let me pick up or carry bodies… don’t know why not. Any ideas? Thanks for the update, however I'm thinking *possibly* Rebellion are intentionally giving us an ordinary mission, so they can hide any major upgraded weapons/ tactics/ enemy as a surprise for us on the day of release?

That grenade icon looked like it had an antenna in the upper right and maybe radio waves around it. Maybe a remote grenade?

I don't mind this game being basically the same as SE5, but I do hope they at least make some more aesthetic changes to the UI and such. I also hope have have some new music and not just reused tracks from SE5. Just little things like that can help give this game its own feel and personality. I know they are bringing Invasion back, but I hope that is tweaked as well, such as putting a cool down on the Sniper being able to use the 'Focus' ability so it can't be used constantly.
