The same bike now costs $2099 but comes with a 20 AH battery. A huge improvement!

Almost bought an Addmotor for my 1st e-bike, but a e-bike-wise co worker told me to get a Rad Power bike, instead! Got the Rad Runner and am very happy with it. Got the juiced Bikes Camp Scrambler for my 2nd e-bike, and am very happy with that, also!!! Your reviews are the best, keep up the good work! I like to pedal and that seat would be too low for me on the Motan.

what's wrong with ADdmotor. I was thinking of buying this bike for my first Ebike. I need to commute 5 miles (back and forth) to work but have a few steep hills between.

@@spacecat673 There isnt anything wrong with AddMotor. Rad and Juiced all come basically same place. After purchase support is always going to be the issue. It will be hit or miss

I love mine. I added a few thing to make it my own, but I now have about 200 miles in the frame so far. The only problem I had with it so far was a slow leak in the rear tire. (think I must have hit a thorn or something) I put slime in the tire and away I went. Get you a tube if you go any distance. Fat tires = flat tires more often than you think. Looking at some Tannus inserts... Mag wheels were a big deal maker for me. Hub motors are hard on spokes over time. Didn't want to mess with it. She must run, and she must always be ready to run. She's a strong workhorse. I do wonder if it's possible to find a 1kw motor though. I would love a little more carrying capacity. I find that I am delivering and picking up a lot o stuff from the store on this. As for the brakes, I like to be able to fix them in the field. I can get and replace cables and parts easily. Hydraulics would be nice, but conditions are harsh here. I must be able to repair in the field. This bike is great!

Watching your knees when you pedaled answered everything I needed to know - I'm 6'4", so...nope. But cool if I didn't want to pedal, I suppose.

I feel the exact opposite about the lighting not being connected to the main battery. If you are using it for work to deliver food or packages it would be better to not have the main battery going to powering the lights. Just have it so that when you plug in the bike you’re plugging in both batteries so that you’ll never be tempted to leave the batteries off to extend your range, because that’s a huge safety risk and all they have to do is design the bike slightly differently. An extra wire running from a main port to the head and tail lights wouldnt be expensive to engineer or produce. I feel so strongly about this that I think it should be illegal to sell anything that doesn’t provide a set up like that because anytime you leave it up to the person to decide whether or not they should use their headlights it’s causing a danger for even non-users of the bike

My Fortis also has a AAA battery taillight as well, I ride on footpath at night to avoid having to burn up throw away batteries

that chain is prettty bouncy... looks loose.. bout to pop off... i do like the rims/ non spokes.. i love that the light has its own battery.. id love this bike with belt drive and hydro brakes.. yea.. for 1999 that battery better be good...

The Rattan LF750 or LM750 is way better, foldable, has a rear seat for your kids and does a top speed of 28mph and I've actually gotten it to 29mph on a full charge on a flat 1 mile road and I'm 6'2 and 280 pounds. With peddle assist on 3 I've done about twenty miles and still had all bars on the battery meter even though I know it's not on full charge that's pretty freaking good. I have close to 600 miles on it already and I've had it about 4 months I believe. Oh and the price is like $1200!

I wonder if any other maker can start putting out larger more pedal friendly frames. These little frames seem to be all over the place. For riders more than 5'10" tall, these are just ridiculous.

Just get a normal 20 inch bike non folding.I have a CSC 750 XP 20 and it is actually bigger then an adult 26 inch pedal mountainbike.These bikes are actually big but the moped style is really that--an electric off road moped with a low non adjustable seat.I have videos of mine and I am 6ft tall and it is perfect for me.I pedal most of the time and have already dual motored mine and it is perfect. I was also able to get mine in a Honda CRV--I do trails and also pedal and did not want a folding bike because they are less stable offroad.

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ru-vid.comUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

Full leg Extension: The problem with ALL Chinese S-Bikes (as well as their Petrol cousins) is they are designed for short people. They just do not build bikes for full grown adults ... frustrating.

Too slow for my tastes, looking for something similar but able to hit minimum 30mph. Had the juiced hyperscorpion but last year at damn near 3k, came in rather damaged and add that poor customer service has put me off of them all together. Onyx is ugly imo and way overpriced...again imo.

I have Lectric XP and their customer service is awesome. I paid $700 for the bike with one mile on it. They have new version with suspension for a thousand bucks. When you pedal you can hit 25 to 30. Also it folds so you can put into car easy.
