Love your videos mate! I just wanted to touch on Torque. When a shaft speeds up torque is reduced and when it slows down the opposite happens. So, if you have a 160nm mid drive and then increase the speed through the sprockets it have a lot less torque at the rear wheel. If you double rpm you half torque. HP=torque x rpm / 5252 so an 80nm rear drive is really good compared to a 160nm mid drive!

Great review! Wondered what your opinion in general is on safety with folding bikes especially when riding off road? Are there risks of them collapsing/folding in somehow mid ride?

that's a really good question, justin. sooooo, it kind of depends on the locking mechanism, how many gussets are on the frames and just the overall build quality, but generally speaking i would say any folding bike is going to be less structurally sound than a traditional frame. that being said, i'd feel comfortable taking this bike off-road on dirt trails and some modest obstacles, but i definitely wouldn't hit any jumps or anything like that with it. hope that helps!

@@electrifiedreviews thank you..I ended up backing this similar folding fat tire bike on Indiegogo.. With all the added perks . You get more for your money with these added perks .. (hydraulic disc brakes, larger battery (greater mileage), up to 30mph speeds, nicer color display, tire options, fenders, rear rack) brake light etc).. With the added perks works out about the same price as the addmotor.. www.indiegogo.com/projects/mate-x-most-affordable-fully-loaded-folding-ebike/x/16962449#/ they just announced upgraded, tighter/more durable locking mechanisms (for locking securely when riding) and also a 'ludacrous' mode (similar to Tesla) for added acceleration/speed.. Also the battery is positioned more centrally and therefore less balanced to the rear like the addmotor

A waterproof canvas bag with back/cross body strap. That way when you ride it to where ever you're going, you can unfold the bag, fold the bike, place it in the bag, strap it on your body, and take it inside. If going shopping you just put it in the/under the shopping cart without scratching it up. At work just sit it next to your desk, or in the employee lounge. The bag would be nice even in you hatchback or trunk of your car to protect your bike and your car/SUV.

How's the Motran M150-P7 compared to Rad Mini ? They are in close price range , both fat bikes . I'm shopping mini fat bikes .

I haven't personally reviewed the Rad Mini but you can check out EBR's review of that bike here: electricbikereview.com/rad-power-bikes/radmini/ ... I have watched the review on the Rad Mini though and it looks like they are comparable. I'd say they both of their pros and cons and it's really going to come down which one has the specific features you're looking for. :)

Yes they are about the same, I bought the Wallke because it was $12 less, $1388 on Amazon. It's a solid, comfortable bike.

Hello, I’m writing you because I have an Add motor Motan M-150-P7 750W bike. I’m also a big guy (I’m 325 lbs.). Even at my weight, the bike runs GREAT and has tons of power. The bike is advertised at a top speed of 20 mph, but on straight aways and no wind factor, I can get up to 23 mph. There is one issue I’ve been having since I started using the bike. When I get to 75% of top speed, the front AND back wheels make a quick rubbing noise that persists until I slow back down. My first thought was that the brakes needed to be adjusted. I’ve adjusted the front and back brakes more than 15 times and I still get the rubbing noise. No matter where I set the brakes, at 75% of full speed the rubbing sound begins. If you are decently experienced at maintaining this bike and know a solution to fix this, your help would be greatly appreciated!

hi Hasheen! are you able to discern where exactly the rubbing noise is coming from? my guess is this is just tire noise from the increased speed, but it's possible the discs are rattling and rubbing against the pads. if you're able to take a video of it and upload that i'm happy to take a look!

What up, crazy world lloyd! Can't say for sure what the range will be for that weight as a lot of it is going to come down to how hard the motor is being driven and what kind of terrain is being tackled. The best gauge for range is to check out the battery watt hours.

Yes if you want hill climbing power but will use more battery if you run your motor at the higher watts.

depends on what you need. if you live in a particularly hilly area or a heavier rider like me, the 750 watt might be a better option, but 500 watts is still pretty powerful.

ahhh! bummer, david! i'm sure you've already done this, i'd recommend first ensuring the battery has a charge. this can be done by inserting the key into the battery, turning it to the "on" position and then depressing the battery indicator button on the top to see if any of the lights light up. if you do have a charge, and if the key is inserted and in the "on" position, and the bike still won't turn on, i'd move on to checking all the connections. make sure the cable feeding into the display is secure and attached, and basically just go around the bike and do the same for all the connectors. if the display STILL won't turn on, then it sounds like a lemon, which would suck. hopefully that's not the case, but please let us know what your experience is with this and if you're able to solve it!

Hi Thomas! Try unfolding the handlebars and looking straight down at the stem. There should be a bolt inside. Tighten that up and you should be good to go. Lemme know if that works!

@@thomashalley3607 if the front wheel is still turning independent of the handlebars then the star nut (the one inside the stem) needs to be tightened further. make sure to get this super snug before riding it or you won't be able to steer. if i recall, the angle of the brake levers will be dependent on the angle of the handlebars, which can be adjusted by loosening the lever at the top of the handlebars. check out this video of the m-350 for comparison ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Io4mMImF5EU.html

Brent McCluskey - Electrified Reviews I would recommend them. Customer support team is good. The model we chose is good,all black, logo covered with blk tape. We asked customer service for suspension to install on our model ( Which is like the 750w m150p1) without the flashy Colors. I want the more expensive model (3000w). The local law here is 250w and we have 500watts, which doesn't seem to be a problem, no stopped once. However people think a 4inch wide wheel is cheating the law,like a petrol gas dirt bike, but most people are fools :)

Brent, i thought that all throttle bikes were capped at 20mph and the pedal assist can take you up to 25mph, in this review you said the opposite. Are you sure the throttle tales you up to the 25mph max? This bike is a decent radmini knock off purty much. And are you hiding some dreads under that Jamaican hat?

hey Hack! sorry for the late reply here man. for speeds and power, there's 4 different classes of electric bikes. this one was configured a bit wonky but i suspect the pedal assist speed can be adjusted in the settings somewhere. and dreads? i wish haha. not cool enough for that tho

NOthiing irritates me more than people who use slang like "dope".I would be dope if I bought this turkey. I saved my money..you know what I got. If I had it all to do over again..Id probably get a Mate-X. For thebetter tires andshocks. I also dont like exterior batterys. Im sure it runs fine and everything but the competition is stiff now. But anyway good review. I do miss the suspension for my bike, thats why I will go to mate x next time, but IM keepiing the Lectric. I hate orange.
