As a Japanese niji EN and JP fan living in overseas I think they're messing up their international expansion because they don't quite know how communication works about working culture in western. People in western country are fairly proactive to strike and speak up themselves, in this modern age on platforms like Twitter, creating a hashtag and casually rallying to a social movement, it represents a strong democratic spirit. In Japan, we might just tolerate no matter how bad working culture, mismanagement, low salary, sexual harassment whatsoever. We don’t take any action like starting unions or protests, just silently leave or get fucked out mental and body health. And if big name retailers or corporations known like Nijisanji caused a scandal, always the higher ups issue an apologising show on national TV like this video , sometimes they resign to take responsibility rather solving the problem or the problematic culture. This is Japanese way of communication in working culture and does not make any sense to western audience. So they failed communication again. Unfortunately I don’t think this company’s management won't change unless chairman are replaced like Tazumi and in this case, I don't think the executives will step down, and EN branch’ prospects keep collapsing until the close.

I viewed Nijisanji in such a good light at first, I watched nearly all of the livers because it genuinely helped me feel better. I'm often stuck at home due to my epilepsy and watching these livers really helped me stay positive. Now so many things have happened, Nijisanji just seems to get darker by the day. What happened to Selen is absolutely awful, I don't think they should get to sweep it under the rug and say that it was "regrettable." They nearly caused someone to end their own life because they were selfish, greedy, and didn't care about the mental health of an employee. It scares me to think that other livers at Nijisanji are experiencing the same thing, especially considering they can't speak out about it as if it's simple. Because of this situation I refuse to watch any of the livers under Nijisanji, even the ones I used to watch daily. I'm truly disappointed in this company.

This video and the one up on Elira's channel makes me think that upper management and EN management just cannot communicate effectively at all.
