Ruby came to Glasgow and filmed very early on and her style really struck me right away. Nobody else had done that, she came here and talked to just random people on the street, or on a bus and had the most profound conversations.
thank you, this is the funniest, most authentic and heartwarming interview that I have listened to in quite some time, super dandy brilliant, and as for my own mental health struggles (c-ptsd, developmental trauma (adoptee issues) and bouts of depression due to chronic pain over 4 decades) the laughs that you have provided (including Jennifer, Dawn and a few other absolute treasures) over my lifetime have been so healing and lifted me up and given me such beautiful reprieve from my emotional, mental, physical and sometimes spiritual pain, so much love and gratitude to you all xxxxx
Always brings it home to you, they are people just like us, with insecurity's , and worries , ok they have talent to do what they do, but you know, what I mean. I have enjoyed the chain reaction interviews.....
Not surprising at all if you have followed the concept behind this now very lengthy series of ‘Chain Reaction’ actors/comedy interviews. Ade chose Ruby because he likes her, knows her, and wanted to record this within the fantastic series. Look out for whom Ruby chooses herself - the next one in the chain.
Subscribed! And I remember Malcomb Hardee and Up the Creek...sex on legs and the Balloon dancers. Yup ..once said to be the father of alternative comedy. I miss Malcolm. OTT with the Tiswas crew for Adult Audience ..balloon Dancers... F*k it .. I saw most of the comics here at up the creek Comedy Club. Wikid Thanks for this series...and to ll the generous artists who gave frank and funny interviews. It's a creative art..and better to build each other up than drag another down. Ade is a real gent...
