Leo is the GOAT of covers...anything he covers is an instant heavy classic...always better than the original. Not to mention the fact that he plays over 90% of the instruments and mixes himself...GOAT, I tell you, GOAT! 😂😬
@Robert Hall - But some hardcore Metal fans might not like what he did with Painkiller and other Metal classics but who cares, real music fans know that Leo has the Midas touch. : )
I have to disagree, the original is much better, Adeles song shouldn't be aloud to be change to heavy metal versions, it doesn't sound right in my books
GOAT. PERIOD! Even my 3yr old son has his toy guitar READY for his daily Leo jamsession of his playlist. He can't get enough sometimes an hour or more straight, I love it too. And, the best thing about it is 99% of the songs he covers are clean with No cursing!!! Subbed just for you giving this a try man!!!
Leo is a genius! He began doing metal covers of other songs for his little girl. And they just took off. He can turn any song into a metal cover. And they are FANTASTIC! SULTANS OF SWING IS AMAZING!💕

That was my introduction to Frog Leap. After listening, I just sat, stunned with “wtf did I just watch?” echoing in my brain. Then I snapped out of it, and binge watched until I couldn’t see from the wound I gave myself, banging my head off my desk! 10 stitches and a pillow later, I was back watching Leo again...
I was glad to see you wipe the goosebumps off your arm the same time I had them. I've never gotten them from the original. The man is an unbelievable artist.
If you're going down the rabbit hole of Leo, just put all 300+ of his covers on a wheel and spin it. Dude is fantastic at taking pop songs and making them metal, with the occasional metal to acoustic cover. He has a great sense of humor, and is a genuinely likeable guy. If you want to start with crowd favorites, though, I'd go with Africa and Sultans of Swing next. Baby Boy is another favorite of mine. He turns that song from crap to art with Lillian Rinaldo.
Hi Bro! Your final statment about not comparing and about original was gold. I think that Leo is so good .that he turns covers to something else. That said Adele's "Help" is pure art - not comparing myself either :)
Welcome to Leo's vids. I'm glad you watched the outro. You should watch all the outros on all his videos. Especially when you do his cover of Africa. And you will. Because if you're reacting to Leo covers that one is required viewing.
Leo always has a way of melting faces of the unsuspecting first timers. Great voice, great instrument ability, and always a funny and entertaining video production. I know these vids he shoots must take a lot of time to come up with all the crazy stuff that he has going on throughout the shot. He’s gotta have a marvelous sense of humor .

The most amazing thing to me about Leo is he not only sings, but plays all the instruments, comes up with the covers, makes the videos. He does it ALL.

I have so many of his takes in my rotation. I even jam his Disney cover with confidence. He takes a pop song that touch's the heart strings and make it tough. Check out his Cover of Pink's "Just give me one reason" & "try" ... Heck, just let yourself drift down the rabbit hole.
This is what I love about your channel Jamel, besides your positive outlook look on life, I have listen to a lot of music but you are constantly exposing me to groups and musicians I have never heard of and Leo is a master musician and I am hooked now.....THANK YOU SIR ROCK ON!!!!

Ah, Leo Metal. This dude has made me go check out songs I never would've imagined I'd check out. Pretty sure he can expertly play any instrument known to man.
I have watched most of his videos over the last year and a half -- This dude is CRAZY and just AMAZING watch the video on how he puts these all together.
Leo is a freaking genius. I love almost every cover he's done. Eye of the Tiger is phenomenal. Zombie, is very good. Man, There are way too many that is so good, I could list them all day, lol.
I've seen a few of his videos. He's really good. He has friends usually do spot light appearances. Like this one, he had his buddy do the solo. Sultans of Swing is another good cover he does.
Leo actually has a week long series of videos on his channel where he does a daily vlog of his entire process from start to finish for creating/recording a cover and the video. Basically it takes him 5 days from concept to post. It is really cool to watch and see what he is able to do in such a short time. Just search for "How I record a metal cover" and you will see the series.

Leo has got tons of covers. Not all great, but a helluva lot of hilarious and hard hitting songs to enjoy. Btw he also does acoustic covers of metal songs just to change things up.
You need to go check out more of his work. He has also taken heavy metal music and turned it to pop. This man has some talent. That rabbit hole will have you for a while.

This dudes awesome! Norway bringing the musicians... I got a mate I catch up with who's similarly talented but doesn't make videos, and you go around his place for some beers and he's got all the instruments set up and it's always a good time..I think I'll link him this bloke and see if he starts making his own videos...
