Without a doubt, this is one of the most emotional, sincere, heartfelt and tragically beautiful performances of our time. Halfway through the song during the instrumental part, you can see the pain and respect on Adele's face. In a concert hall that is filled with nearly 10,000!!! people...............complete and deafening silence from the audience. You can't ask for much more respect and love than that. Adele has my respect and awe for this whole "performance" from beginning to end.
This is some clever editing, actually. If you track down audience-upped posts from that night, there was a lot of chatter and yelling as she sang this. She tuned them out nicely and delivered a sublime performance on this one. They bring the audience chatter/applause up to its normal levels only at the end here, which gives us a sense of what she had to battle through to perform this as nicely as she did.

Amy and Adele are both very special and talented singers, there really is no need to compare them. I personally love Amy's voice so much but I wouldn't say she's better than Adele or that Adele is better than her. It really just comes down to how much you connect with their music as an individual.
Better than Whitney. Sorry, Whitney had an amazing vocals but that's where it stopped. Adele writes all of her songs, except the covers, and plays guitar and piano. Adele's talent runs way deeper than Whitneys ever did. Michael, yea he also used to write his songs..so he is on that list with Adele.
Chaos Earthquake Whitney had only her Voice,, but that voice is one hell of a weapon that made her a legend. She can literally shake the whole room with her voice alone, she was that good performer. On the other hand, Adele is more of an emotional song writer, with a good voice so she can convey her emotions in her raspiness soulful voice. The tone in her voice is the best i've seen. So both are good in their own leagues

The moment the lights dimmed and Adele asked everyone to raise their phones, the atmosphere in the concert hall became truly transcendent. And the addition of the lap steel guitar, makes this whole experience overwhelmingly bittersweet and stunningly beautiful. You could almost feel Amy Winehouse's spirit in the room. I cry everytime i come back to watching this. 😢❤

I don't care what anyone says, Amy was a fantastic singer. Yes she had her problems, but a lot of that was caused by the pressures of fame. Look at Fleetwood Mac, they did mountains of coke and are still highly respected. Amy deserves the same respect and love. Rip Amy xx

One of the many many things I love about Adele and her career is that the music industry is a big competition and all of her competition female wise and most of the guys need massive pyrotechnics and huge stages that do weird shit and a million costume changes and oh so many dancers and they do this for fans and for fans to buy records and for the industry and the awards. And Adele can come out, stand in one spot mostly, no dancers, no pyrotechnics, no fancy shit and no costume changes and she snatches the awards and record sales from all those people dying a death dancing around on stage and we all know it must drive them crazy that she can stand all night in one outfit with no dancers or anything and be called the best on the planet. If i was Beyonce or Katy id be livid!! She is the most popular artist on earth and she can do that with just her voice and a piano. Im so happy she did this tribute and im happy that a curvy girl who doesnt get half naked is the reigning queen of music on earth... Adele!

Over the past few months I've been digging in in Bob's albums, it's amazing how many songs he wrote that were covered by other great musicians like Johnny Cash, Nina Simone, Dolly Parton, Aritha Franklin and many more others. Dylan is such a great poet, a true artist.
