@@MaoRatto Gotta be the latter. "In the End" dates back as far as 2001 if I'm not mistaken and the album it came from was released in 2000. "Set Fire to the Rain" was released in 2012.
I lost my husband 10 years ago even though it feels like it was just yesterday but her is still in my heart and I love hearing these two bands play together
Look up "Four Chords Song" by Axis of Awesome. 90% of all popular songs follow the same four chords, so their vocals and instrumentals are easily interchangeable. This is why All-Star by Smash Mouth fits with almost every song!
@@ruthogden9695 Does it change the fact that you commented that you hadnt seen anyone for 10 days? No it doesnt. My reply is relevant to the comment made.
This is perfect, honestly. I listened to many, many good Mashups but this one just fits perfectly, the instrumentals go so well with the lyrics, it just fits
I'm ashamed the no-one was there for him God bless Chester Bennington your a Vocal beast Hope you're sing to us from heaven from Glasgow Sadly missed hope you've found peace. And no more suffering
Linkin Park forever. Chester your voice helped many people lives who's facing depression to come out of it. but we are sorry we couldn't help you. Rest in peace ✌️🕊️ Chester.
My mom loves adele, she listened to her cd in germany, so adele will always remind me of my mom, thats a reason i love adele's music, plus she has an amazing voice
I’ve been watching a lot of these metal/pop mashups lately. This is probably the best one I’ve listened too so far. Adele’s voice blends nicely with Linkin Park’s sound.
I know that feel Samantha. What makes it even more irksome is when the vocals 1st started up it sounded mehish, so I was expecting it to be awful. Wasn't the case. Not sure if want.
AutismSquared While they were nu metal for the most of Hybrid Theory, In The End sounds more like pop rock, even Mike Shinoda once said it was one of their "poppiest" songs.
In the end is one of their most poppiest songs. But you realize that was almost 2 decades ago... (18) years ago.. music has changed a lot since then. So yes I still consider it nu-metal or how ever you want to put it but I was heavier. : P I don't think it is pop like it is now a days.
I let it fall, my heart, And as it fell you rose to claim it It was dark and I was over Until you kissed my lips and you saved me My hands, they're strong But my knees were far too weak To stand in your arms Without falling to your feet But there's a side to you That I never knew, never knew All the things you'd say They were never true, never true And the games you play You would always win, always win But I set fire to the rain Watched it pour as I touched your face Well, it burned while I cried 'Cause I heard it screaming Out your name, Your name When I lay with you I could stay there Close my eyes Feel you here forever You and me together nothing gets better 'Cause there's a side to you That I never knew, never knew All the things you'd say They were never true, never true And the games you play You would always win, always win But I set fire to the rain Watched it pour as I touched your face Well, it burned while I cried 'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, Your name I set fire to the rain And I threw us into the flames Well, it felt something died 'Cause I knew that that was The last time, the last time Sometimes I wake up by the door, That heart you caught must be waiting for you Even now when we're already over I can't help myself from looking for you I set fire to the rain Watched it pour as I touched your face Well, it burned while I cried 'Cause I heard it screaming Out your name, Your name I set fire to the rain, And I threw us into the flames Well, it felt something died 'Cause I knew that, that was the last time The last time Let it burn Let it burn Let it burn
the Linkin Park makes it hit so different cos I'm also hearing "in the end it doesn't even matter" at the same time as supposedly fighting for your own sanity at the cost of heartbreak. And it really does feel that way. Didn't feel like a victory for me when I had to set fire to the rain. Awesome mashup...
Wow I'm actually really impressed how well this works. I listen to a lot of mashups like this but this is one of the best that actually sounds like an improvement over both songs.

This is not a mashup this is emotional surge in form of music! My frustration and anxiety in this lockdown is reduced so much thanks to his musical potion.
